can someone explain why sunworld laggs so much. Im new to this silkroad stuff so idk lol. Becuz i meen alot of people been paying silk and the guys probably made over $1000 dollars cant he fix lagg?
The server can't handle all of the actions that players are performing - casting skills and teleporting are a major factor. The connection isn't a problem as I ping ~70ms to it. They just need to upgrade their server (better processor and RAM for the most part).

I agree with you even when I have around 200 ms ping I don't have any lag if the server is just back on from check but it starts to lag like hell as soon as it hits crowded.

Server will lag until alot of players will quit,this way gm`s will do something to make people come back.

depend, RAM is always cheaper than processor. A decent processor is about $300

In my country with 200$ you buy a 4 x 2.33GHz processor which will let you handle everything u need.
And for a 50 mb/s connection I only pay 13$ / month which can handle any kind of server I want.And if they don't have good internet or system why don't they pay a hosting company ...

4 x 2.33ghz cpu's at $200? what the single core ones? intel celeron 2.33ghz? yea anyone can get them cheep too. they need quad core zeons with roughly 64gb ram and atleast a 500 mb connection to run somthing decent. anyway thier connection isnt the problem. because i can ping the servers at 150-180 so if sunworld had a bad connection my ping would be looking like 1000ms +
and judging from the lagg i get like 3 seconds so were talk 3000ms+ ping here. but i ping somthing alot lower than this. its a hardware issue.
its like having a great Graphic card or 2 even. for example having 2 ATI 4870 in crossfire in a pc with a **** motherboard, ****** cpu like a old single core pentium 4, 1gb ddr pc3200 ram etc is just going to bottleneck the graphic cards.
so you could have the best connection in the world but it means nothing unless its get everything else supporting it like the hardware.

I can tell you it wont! My dad's company is running with 30 computers on the network and it needs 2x 4x3.0Ghz. Yes, that's 2 quad cores. And it's like 5 years old. Zomg.
There's no way a quad core can run a whole server. Those servers need to be way more powerful than you think. You probably can't even buy those things on the market. Do you think Joymax runs they're servers on dual cores? I lol'd. xD It needs a VERY VERY POWERFUL machine to handle soo much connections at the same time.

Try playing a new generation game (like Crysys, or Cod4), with a Nvidia Geforce 9800 and a Pentium4 1.8 ghz and you will see what he means.
A computer/server needs to be balanced, or it's fucked up.
Im pretty sure they dont. And without sunso community GM will never collect enough money. For that he need some mature and proper ppl to help him with seling silks and stuff. Not like this boco5000 guy who must pay some stupid chinese 80% paypal fees and **** lol
Well, the bigest problem with sunsro is that we dont have any contact with the main GM. All they do is keep feedin us with thier lies about updates and events.
Maybe this situation will change to better but I hope susro will get soon closed foreva =P
how to make DSEEG work with dragonica (THQ/ICE) work for vista 32 bit users 10/16/2010 - Dragonica - 4 Replies ok after 3 hours of messing around with dragonica i found a way to make it work with DSEEG for those who got the memory edit error
firstly within the 1 minture the game is open with dseeg remove all hotkeys and delete all bot settings and click save
leave the patcher.exe filepath as it is, select THQ and close everything, make sure that you set DSEEG to run as admin from the compatibility tab in properties.
now delete engine.ini from both c: drive and the dragonica release folder
