Connection Error!

Hello,
I have a problem with my server. I use the client version 1.188. I setting up all settings on my deskop pc and i can connect on my server with my laptop. But If my friend wants to connect, it's doesn't work. The client says, that my server is offline... but he is online..

can anyone help me ?

Is your friend starting via launcher? If so you need to modify the IP in media.pk2 to your server. Or start the client with EDX loader.

I modifyed the ip and we try with the edx loader too... but don't work

Please are you behind router, do you have static ip?

Did you forward the ports, did you check firewall settings?

It could be many stuff.

Yes, I am behind a router and I have static ip. I used for example this guide :



But my friends can't connect to my server....

Try to open ports in firewall, you don't need that when you connect from your machine (if it's on same as server) but for external you need to open ports. Easiest way to check if your friend is able to connect -> telnet from CMD to agentserver port for example.
telnet IP_Here 15884 (or other port you use)
