A question about warlock.

I was just wondering what's the point of having a highly plused warlock.. Does it help with debuffing like it can go through holy spell easier and debuff easier or is it just for firewall removal and higher damage if INT warlock?

Like every character if you have a bit more advance then you get some small results.
