Microsoft sucks... a lot of people say so and yet they are using windows anyway.
Windows: C++, kernel is in C
Mac: Objective C, kernel is in C (IO PnP subsystem is Embedded C++)
Yet again, you can't run sro on mac by default, you've to use 3rd pt tool / virtual windows. so basically microsoft is the main way to run c++ models (including sro)

I know that microsoft did not invent c++, but most of the c++ usage is considered on microsoft's products *windows*
