seems like you absolutely don't know what you're talkin about. i've noticed that you like to use some offtopic examples.

so to explain it lets say you've got a movie on a dvd. you can use it, you can watch it, you could reencode it, well yeah you could even cut it or append some stuff to it.

but do you realy think you could modify the movie itself? you've got no ressources. no blue backgrounds with moving people or anything. and now to get back to the topic its a fact that you can't modify completely compiled tools that much as you are talkin about.
well yeah you can manipulate some comparisons or "if .. then .. else" algos but you can't fix known bugs without having the source lol.

we're not talkin about fixing some bugs in a tool we've written on our own.

if you think you're able to write a working server emu for any official sro servers than get off this topic. there are enough threads for emu projects. all the serverfiles, the current running pservers are using, are stolen from joymax and i don't think any1 will ever get an emu for the current official servers to work 100% (ok maybe rumata :P but he doesn't even want to do that) cuz there are to many packets which have to be fully parsed.

no first it was an idea then paper's (Architecture)then loading work to dig the system first floor to highest floor

p-master aka [gm]sweety is not even a team member of ecsro anymore.

the ecsro.net page is down cuz it've been ddosed and the gameservers are down cuz they wanted to switch to the actual csro client.
zubzero asked me for help if thats possible but i told him that they had to build up totally new serverfiles wich would take ages. (guess thats the reason why they deleted the old game files)

Lolkop,hab mal versucht Isro client für Swsro zu benutzen.
Hat alles bis zum Character fenster geklappt,nur Ich konnte mein char sehen,weder chars erstellen.
Vllt. könnten wir beide das hin kriegen.
Liegt vllt. an der Media.pk2?
Oder wirklich an den serverfiles?

ab der stelle unterscheiden sich die opcodes und packetstrukturen.
das ist auch der grund weshalb man die serverstatus tools auch für ecsro nutzen kann. bis zur charauswahl sind die packets in jeder sro version gleich =)

ausser in csro und ksro die habn glaub ich noch extra security drinn
