What would say if you have worked sooo hard like 3-4months for a psro,you want it to open and you see that you need to advertise it.
and you face this:
I know I'm not the only person who despises the amount of effortless private-servers which are being spewed out daily, claiming to "make you re-live the 80cap times" and etc. So, my point is, why not limit the Advertisement section (I don't know how yet, I'll edit my idea into this post later) or remove it? I know there will probably be around 90% of the community disagreeing with me - But there's literally nothing useful coming from it - aside making the SRO section look active, when really, It's not. And, it'll also greatly decrease the amount of off-topic posts, members creating accounts such as "[GM]BLABLSRO" and the amount of time you waste downloading and joining countless servers only for them to be shutdown after 3 days. Another problem, is owners who have NO CLUE WHATSOEVER on how to open/run/fix a server, but still continue to do so. I know there's nothing we can do against that, but, there are some limits which can be added to prevent that.
IMO - We need some sort of system (or whatever) which only allows users to post servers which will indefinitely not shutdown after three days, and are reliable, since every time I visit that section, there's always a new section being added. I still haven't forgotten about the suggestion to limit users posting in the advertisement section (minimum join date / posts before being allowed to post a thread in there) but sadly there was no answers from the staff regarding the matter.
So, what's your opinion? How do you think we could go against useless servers being posted daily?
TLDR - A lot of **** servers being posted lately, post your opinion on how we can prevent this
Don't try,don't think.You'll see that you have to "hide" some server to see the good ones

I cannot find a good 100 cap server because of this SRO section.
Some servers threads should close because Epvp amblem, i reported about 8 server but Haxor doing nothing
If you dont want make clean Advertise section why you here
Creationist if you wont do nothing about reports , please dont be moderator like Haxor/PortalDark. They are full of afk. This section dying fastly. 2page have 40 advertising , 8 server havent epvp amblem/website offline/multi thread etc. so why you still moderator? Im more online than you LOL.
Creationist be MODERATOR AND CLEAN THIS ADVERTISING SECTION. Make something about it or this site going2go bad.. There have good servers but nobody wanna play at there because 30-40 online. Its about yours , if have 10-15 GOOD server threads , they have 350-400 player online.. But i wouldnt be i know. I think i will online like Haxor/Portaldark 2 hours online in a week ^^ Thanks

sorry to say mate, but let alone the psro, the WHOLE sro community died because of time,all the awesome people which made this community quit after the server files got released, so don't get your hopes up. this section is just dead, you can't "resurrect" it.

There are a few servers left that have over 1k players or more , thow threre only with one nation il just give an example : Server full of Germans . And so one .

i don't think you really remember the time when there was ecsro,mysro and etc, it is no where near active to those times.

That's because ecsro didn't really have a forum, neither did mysro and etc. So the only place people could go to discuss / trade **** would be elitepvpers.

Check the private server advertising threads, it's active - the SRO section in its whole is active, a lot of members just prefer to lurk the forums and not post anything.

hey i was wondering if anyone here know how to disable/remove the Aclaim Advertise pop window?sometimes its so annoying like the one when you get killed and then revive at point were your character is dead as soon as your character revive the advertisement will suddenly pop-up and there's no Close window you have to wait for seconds till its gone specially when mobs cheesing you to death after revive *LOL* -_-' well?
