Today, i connect at epvp and i saw this message on my messages box:

So this guy seems to be a skiddie who is around Private sro advertising thread checking the servers and their opening time.
For example, 'my' server will open today at 4 - 6PM GMT +2, and this guy will start ddosing 1 hour after.

Also, some people told me this guy have a big botnet that can laugh over big antiddos companies.

The problem is not the 40$, all servers owners can afford it, but im sure after few weeks he will ask for money again, and maybe more $ than before.
And ofcourse if we pay this time, more skiddies will come asking for money.

What should we do? any ideas?

I would like to ignore people like this, but i dont want open a server for get massive ddos 1 hour after.

Thanks for the info. Im gonna report to the admin about this cases. We know we cant do much against this but atleast to take actions to those guy's account

The attack will still reach the router and it will get your IP nullrouted.

that was funny when i did ddos some people i was killing just noobs but that funny when he was acting same way as my Sig when i said SICK POWER

there many ways to avoid it proxy ip from Voxilty or whatever same as my service too am not trying to adv my service but there many ways avoid attack since ddos is starting from 8 $ this days

Is true a simple linux server wont protect against those attacks, but lower ones.. anyway, i think a proxy ip like Sh3ll T34M said should be ok.

first, we mods cannot even see Ips. That's a Global Mod/Admin power
also, i think i a good reason for a IP request could be done, but i have to request this with the admins

yes I know you personally can't do anything about it, only a forwarded question to the admins, it's kinda annoying tbh.I bet this kid is trying to find any scared people to give him money to buy some bots
