I don't like the ideea with suns only from drops, but nothing is written in stone, it can be changed latter if things "don't go according to plan".

This sounds really promising man, for a thread that's not very old you've got a LOT of interest.

If you're going to make it like the 80 cap though, I'd make it as close as you can get. My personal opinion would be - every single rate exactly the same except sp - and or maybe a SLIGHT xp rate change - this includes alchemy - drop rates etc.. it means people have to work for their equipment, they appreciate it more and it takes then longer to get which will assure server longetivity.

I would suggest NO npc suns at all and no modifications to drop rate. The people who are playing your servers are the people who are after nostalgia, that's why you're constantly seeing people doing things like - playing pokemon at the age of 25, playing with a model of a car they had in their youth 20 years down the track - I'm sure you can see what i mean, they're on your server for the same reason.

Many servers offer sun buying features. To be honest.... none of them last long.

The flaws with severs these days is they get short lived by everyone getting everything then quitting. iSRO is a grinding game and always will be - if you cut the main essence out of something it's going to get majorly impaired.

Regardless, I wish you the best for your server. It sounds like a very promising idea. If you're in need of a member for your team I would be more than interested in contributing my personal thoughts and time into helping your project.

Yes I totally agree with you. The problem though is that with these files there isnt alot we can edit, as if they were VSRO files. So Yes alchemy rate is 100% iSro Rate! So no more +20 weapons or +13 weapons, its back to the OH SHIT +7 weapon days or OMFG or for some of my arabic friends (no disrespect) OMA +8 weapons. So for now mostly everything but exp, job, and normal item drop rate is a little higher than normal. I will in time find a way to maybe get more people into jobbing, like maybe doing trade gives u 100K gold allowing you to buy some globals or something, IDK yet. These files are very very hard to work with, But if you guys have any idea's please feel free to shoot them at me.

It's good you've got that in mind, there are so many servers that try this sort of thing but overlook issues like a simple plussing problem to longetivity.

Just a few other ideas.

Elixir drop rates - drop the same as isro.
As you said, but beat me to it - jobbing gold to increase activity and to give the server an ability to have an actual working buy / sell with gold system
Make reverse returns expensive as fck or remove them - lot of servers have people reverse return to their dead spot while jobbing, they get abused caise theyre so cheap which is ****** stupid in my opinion.
Events - instead of offering gear, perhaps something else could be offered though as a reward. - such as an avatar, elixirs, gold or a special job suit or gdf to further the longetivity of the server and avoid imbalance.

Well like I was saying these files are hard to work with, So Avatars, can never be added to these files. And same as Golden Dragon Flag. Yes the special job suits will be increased to 100Million.

Jarvis i hope you don't listen to all those little kids who just want again a "everything for free server".

Don't add to many things, the player should join because of the awesome rates and other specials of your server, wich are very nice. Don't give them every **** please.
