also i dont like the idea for disabling updates.

What I simply meant is, if that Exploit allows a user to get access to the Database and allows to modify the Database itself so the Guy gets the Update.

Basically he could upload some **** in the Database, receive it for himself but not other Players which means he has an Item which causes any Crash for other Players.

(Not all statements from me are meant for Models just saying... next time introduce us the "New Exploit", guessing won't do any **** since posting a Picture is irrelevant when you won't give a full explanation about the Exploit itself)

Use patched gateway and manual patcher.

Did you try it out? I did and it worked like a charm. I think you just can't use the patched gateway server for preparing a new patch serverside. If the launcher wants to download something, he can easily do that even with the patched gateway.

Ofc it works but doing so renders the client unupdate-able
Why?.Because you dont know when someone is gonna need to update as there are lots of ppl constantly coming on a server, you cannot guess when you are gonna need it most
