What's missing in SRO? - YOUR opinion counts!

Hey there People,
even I got to know that SRO slowly dies, but as SRO used to be the game I enjoyed most in my entire life, I couldn't just stand there and watch it die.
Therefore: Here I am. What do YOU think, could make Silkroad a better game? What would make people join ONE server, playing all together.
I want you to find a way and I want to try to realize it. It could be changed gameplay etc or maybe an MP3Player or Videoreplayer plugin. It's all possible.
I want your Ideas and I will see how it could be realized.
I think beginnings will be realized in the Underground ( I won't leak information about it, but it's seriously dead, it needs to be revived ).
For those who don't know me: In the past i used to moderate this section and I've spent dozens of time trying to realize a well organized friendly sro section. The coding corner or the PSRO Advertising were ideas i came up with, so you might see there has been dedication to this section from my site.
Once the project is well structured, it might turn Opensource, but I'm actually afraid of doing so. Access to knowledge seriously is important, but by the resulting mods towards, the amount of servers created would once more split up the entire community.
I'm begging you not to flame this thread, instead I would love you to help me with your Ideas. Discuss them, improve them and once we collected Ideas, I will start a poll to see which ones are much appreciated.
By the way: I'm seriously planning to stay again, so Hey there I'm back ^^

It has been quite some time since I have seen you in psro scene.. Well, anyways, welcome back.
On topic - sandwiches machine would be great.




OK, ok, just kidding, now real OT:
I think that everyone is so focused on edits and new caps that people forgot the main reason why so many people loved this game. And no, that doesn't mean 9001 lv character with +255 gears and super uber skills. I've never capped a single char at isro, yet still had more fun than at most of private servers where I was able to reach the cap's limit. The same was with SWSRO, left it before capping out, but boy, that was something good. Fighting against botters ( at that time db-bot wasn't released so everyone used key pressers, and it was damn fun killing them with protectors), owning chinese guys ( good old fire/coldwall bug, drove those sun-equipped guys crazy) or just talking with guildmates.
As you can see, it's all about community, and while botting might look as a good way to save some time, but sometimes just chilling out is better than capping out. Since it seems that you are thinking about opening server, here are my suggestions:
JSRO files.
About the cap...
About euros..
Rates.
Item mall.
Silk.
Basically, key points are community and server's economy.

ya, the whole alchemy system just kill the game.. it kinda force you to bot, and base your gear into "luck" and bot or hardcore farm at the end ruin everything..

every player has its prefference when it comes to sro, some of them like pvp , some of them like pve, job based, quest based ...and the hard thing will be to combine them or just make something really new .(not a new degree cuz that wont make alot of ppl to join it) but a whole new thing ... like pvp for silk ( i suggest 20 silk he accepts we pvp i win i get his 20 silk ... ) or something like that, or just add a new race and be sure everyone will join it :P

Skill Balance !!! All characters should be equally strong .... a wizard can fight against a glaviers and only the skills shows the real master

and more interface features.... right click on a player and u can invite him .... look his equipment and ask him for a battel....

the map should be better ..... like new npc´s in big regions like taklamakan .... so u dont have run to hotan...

and a important thing is, that silkroad needs more items like weapon and so on ...

just to say it again: it will use an emulator! all ideas will be realized through an edited client and emulated server! this eases the implementation of new features!
and thanks to those who are welcoming me back, i really appreciate being accepted after all this time

the game doesn't really have unbalance stuff by default
However, money hungry "server owners" have made the game so broken with the Pay 2 Win items. Any kid with money will start buying SoSUN +90 items even if it is $40
that's what kills the game entirely

kinda like the idea, but remember, they did a bot for only one server(venture), for a whole new server files, it would be to expect any greedy guy to code a bot for it. After all, having a already made GUI and just changing the packet structure is way to easy

well the game needs features to attract people, community is shaped by those playing.

i talked about jSRO files. but since you're planing it on the Emu scene, it shouldn't be really hard
