LF [[Guide]] Setup Online Server

Hello, everyone.

I'm new in this thing. i have checking out for some video how to setup a server and stuff and sreaching for guide.
but all guide i found was only for hamachi or lan played. Simple [[Non-Public]]

if anyone could guide me how to setup a silkroad private server it would be great i can think pay some cash for helping me out...

An Full Guide "How to setup a silkroad private server without any error for vsro server on public (Online)" not using hamachi and stuff just like other silkroad pirvate server that u just download there client and install or extract it and than just play.

i have already try those guide and i think it non public cuz they say that in post ..... but the post with video idk if it working online like i wanted cuz the files part 3 was missing or deleted.

RAM: 16.0GB
Systemtype: 32-bit operativsystem ( have acceset to change into 64-bit if needed)

Costum made.

and maybe on this computer it a laptop

RAM 4,00GB
Systemtype 64-bit operativsystem.

How da fuck you have pc with 16gb rams and using 32-bit on it you're using max 3gb rams and other 13gb = useless, you need 4gb rams at least to run a server..
And about it it is so fucking easy to setup a server you just gotta have a brain
1. Download database/server files.
2. Config server files normally
3. Install sql
4. Add database [idk how it is called really] to ODBC, use iis normally and config it with the files .asp etc.
5. Go to computer -> Right click -> Properties -> Advanced system settings -> Press "Settings" -> Data Execution Prevention -> Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those i select [just for root] -> Add the machines to it also smc then press Ok normally.
That is how i setup a server takes 30mins because of sql installation.

uhmm... about 32-bit i had it's because i was lended the operation system for clearing my computer i had 64-bit from start be after this re-install i have 32-bit because the techer gave me the wrong CD ......

and about your version step by step.

you said extactly in those guide i posted and i think it the none public server because u have too use exloader to connect or anything like that but if i wrong correct me just dont be so rude with F-word

and about the brain i got a brain ...... it just the first time i'm doing this and i did like the guide said and it work but i dont know if it non-pubilc or it's a online server and if it

How can other player connect the server?

now i just talking about the setup server i'm not request anything about changing exp and changing level and details like that.

Yes, If it was in your pc you will have to use exloader but, if a player connecting to it = will play normally.

dont i need a client for connecting for my server ? like my own media.pk2 and sro_client.exe and stuff like that? if i do how do i get those thing?

i cant just copy my data cuz it running on a server and all. right?

It will work normally just change ip,port in your client by using ipinput [media.pk2]

You will also need to write your ip adress in the server config and certification files. (if i remember correctly, its been about a year last time i touch sro stuff.) And if you are behind a router you must also set port forwarding for 15779, 15884. There may be more to change. I don't remember.
Plus, check this thread , you may find the same problems you are experiencing already solved.

thanks but i already solved that... but now i got the globalmanager problem

it close after few sec i started it ..... i'm already added it to DEP

but before i added it to DEP it close direkt when i open it up but now it close after a few sec maybe 2-3 sec it seem like it loading but it just close ......

please help me !

While it closes itself try to catch a screenshot and read the error. Search for it, those problems are already discussed. Sure you will find your answer. I think you should have set certification or server.cfg wrong. If it is about sql association, either entered IP or SQL access information may be wrong. Good luck.

The screenshot you took does not show errors. You might have took it a bit before it gives an error or if it dies before showing you any error make sure you set your certification right.

uhm i have already change it all like u said but it still not working The GlobalManager close down automatik after few sec like before.
and after i'm open GlobalManager it create a File name:"GlobalManager_[2013-04-18 17-56-51].dmp" maybe it has something to do with it?

and also i'm using a hamachi ip to setup this but it should not have anything with the GlobalManager that closed.
