Why noone uses BlackRogue files?

Very important three reasons not to use:
- Guild Icons (uses different system comparing to vsro, you can't do it unless you know how)
- No free bots
- Launcher update bugged

Sounds like there's a delay in processing the query approvals of the database, e.g. place a non-performant query into the _STRG_ADD_PACKAGEITEM_CORE procedure and enjoy the lags you've mentioned

I've heard this from some more people, but i disagree, this generally happens on every file system if you have slow HDDs.

Well it happened on these BR based Server :

~ EvxSRO
~ Plasma
~ EliteSRO

You sell Pots in NPC and it will take 10-20 Seconds untill you can sell other Pots.
Switching Weapons results into a Lag for yourself that means EU generally Sucks on BR Files since a Chinese in PvP will easily own you, the same goes for PvE if you have Cleric as a Sub Build.

But ya, I would like to see a Server that is BR Based with a Max Plus of +5 to keep it Balanced. Guess this won't happen

I think sarkoplata is right, I had lags when we I ran a BR test server on a dedicated server which had only one SAS HDD (and it was a very slow, old one), and after I ordered an SSD, the lags disappeared.

That happened on eSRO but they fixed it few weeks or days later (I don't remember well) but once they fixed it, I didn't had any probs for switch, buyin pots and so on, I was able to pvp smoothly as dual chinese build ^^

EvxSRO was owned by 3-5 year old kids, you expect much from them. I don't know about Plasma but EliteSRO had very smooth times, even having 3k players online. I don't know how many hosts they changed but the delays were appearing because of different hosts' different hard drives i guess. As I know their latest host had a SSD (however was located in US) so you could feel some delay.

A new hope is right, with a SSD you don't feel anything. You can login to Creddy and see yourself (you won't feel delays unless you're from US)

plasma failed because of chernobyl's lack of time at one point it had 700 players online. & i love the black rouge files. 100 cap is the best

To be honest, Black rogue damage calculating system is more balanced than the vsro one.

It's just about caring. Everyone's using vsro files because they're public with guides and tutorials unless blackrogue..

Plasma had no lag, or it's a bit rare.

Plasma didn't fail just because of Alex... Last time the guy who shared the host, stole the files and closed the server.
