yeah i got my stuff already sorted out gonna start collecting up some cash,buy a cheap mobo a dual core 8 gigs of ram and a 500gb HDD cause i probably will never use up all the space

3rd:not at the moment,but how much is needed for a proper server?

for each player there's about 5-8 kbyte needed. when players are together, it goes up to 15kbyte/ player.
you'd need about 15mbit upstream in order to satisfy those 500 players lag-free.

that aint too bad,i can get about 25 mb/s thats the max my provider can give me

yes. 80% of the signatures here on the board are ******* me off.
everybody is using it as a show-off for some **** that they might find cool, but in fact, nobody cares about those stupid show-off-designs or favorite youtube videos.
a signature shouldn't contain more than 4 lines.

anyway. I'm sure your provider offers you 25mbit DOWNSTREAM, but not uptstream
re-check that please

no seriously they offer up to 25mb upstream i got unlimited internet they provide that much here since its such a small country
