2- 9DG cap with all edit to be the Simple D9 from old times !

and if they wanted a 10dg cap they would go to a br file based server.

my point is don't follow someone else's path choose your own unique path. because the existing paths are old and boring.

There are 50 servers out there which all have caps between 60 and 120 or even more so foreach cap there is a server already.

You should rather think of some new gameplay than which level you can be.

But if I have to choose I would say cap 100 eu and ch

Make a 60 cap job-based oldschool server. A normal one. There were about 3 threads in the last 2 weeks, that there's no 60 cap server, though the oldschoolers would prefer that - I would certainly join. Even an 50 cap, that sounds fun. So the main reason is to open a 50-60 cap server is that there aren't many of them (zero as far as I know). That would be surely unique, if you can make it balanced and playable.


EDIT: And ofc chinese only, and about 20x rates if you ask me.

even if u make it pve..in the end u'll get bored bcs all will become a routine ..so make a pvp server with something new..smth to attract ppl to your server bcs the majority wants a pvp server

I would say 50-50% rather than majority. People are interested in both. Perfection is popular, but so is Playsro. ^^

What i wana see is a server that brings out new stuff. Lets be honest it dosnt matter what cap it is, what rates the server is, all people care about in the end is... End game!
Which is pvp mostly and jobbing when it comes to SRO but when you get to end game and manage to get your full sox set or what ever and pimped it out things start to get boring.
Thats why some ppl like lower rates because its more challenging n keeps ppl interested.

But i think if you want your server to be popular you need to add custom stuff! More specifically aimed at end game. I guess there is Fortress war and arena and CTF but how much can you do of that till it gets boring. You need to redesign some stuff and make end game more fun. Otherwise it will be another server joining the same 50 other + servers that are just the same. just diff rates caps etc.

Fun thing is the server files aren't made to create custom gameplay. So to make the end game more fun you'll have to create an emulator
