Many of you may have noticed that lately, most of the servers are under DDoS attacks. Its obvious that someone out there wants to remove the competition.

We appeal to you, to the players to inform us with all the informations you have, so we can exterminate this ridiculous kids and make your servers stable again.

I also appeal to all sro owners out there to stop this madness, because this is an ugly way to achieve what you cannot on your own. Work hard like we all did, and be fair play.

PlaySRO is now protected and secured, at least for the moment, and we also have helped other servers to get secured, but it seems there is no end to this attacks, unless we find who is behind them.

On the one side it's bad because it is illegal.
But on the other you have to see it positive. Noobish servers will finally disappear

Oh, just don't **** yourself at that so called war.
The only way to get rid of these pests that DDoS is to DDoS them yourself, you can also try hacking, but I doubt you're able to.

Me and other admins have our ways of stopping this. We could strike back with our own "guns". But it would be absurd to start attacking all servers in the hope we will find the guilty one.

What kind of protection are you using? Hardware firewall?

My server gets also DDoS'd sometimes, but stops after few hours, so not a big issue for now, I suppose it would be a bigger problem as the server population grows.
