I've been trying for the past 6 or so months to find an old school server.

All I find is overly edited servers that don't even resemble SRO I once knew.
Like 16 DG, new crappy looking avatars, new I don't know....everything.

It's either that or some 11 DG 500x rates server which I totally dislike. SRO ended at 9/10 degree for me. I can't really choose which degree I like the most.
The atmosphere of 9DG, the Roc Mountain are the prettiest thing about SRO, however 10DG weapons look way better in my opinion.

Not to mention they're short lasting. The most populated servers are 11DG high rates and I just don't get why people like that.

tbh, the community still supports it, which keeps it alive at some point

What I hate the most is that people won't join servers with ISRO files Zyain was.
Most of the psro players now are the ones who started to play sro with the release of the vsro files and it's kinda all they know. Ask them to craft a lv100 hunter wep and they tell you you got the wrong game.
Those files have so much more potential than crappy vsro overedited files which are outdated and limted and also still have bugs and dupes that kinda managed to fly under the radar and work on most servers.

that's actually very true

but most of it is because it vSRO has the most accessibility when it comes to botting

some servers will simply no open under anything non vSRO cuz they fear people will demand bot

Oh the irony all those who won't play without a free bot are also those crying the most for the old school isro feelings from back 2008-2009.

But w/e we'll just play 1-2 more years in the same vicious cycle which are cap100 only chinese servers opened by the same 3 owners and then maybe someone will open something that will break this cycle or most of the remaining psro players will just give up on sro.

there still some activity within the community but it now "centers" around pservers communities

While the forum is being used, people are discussing more within discord server or pservers' own forums

Were sro-r based servers even that successful? I undertand that they were nice but arent vSRO's file more "developed"?
