Not rly , there are players who wanna play mmo's but are too used to silkroad to quit or to learn a new game. Also what friends like is important aswell. Kinda lame to take up on a new mmo by yourself.

My last hope is on SRO II or a private server based on isro/ksro server files and managed by someone enough smart.

Why wouldn't you try to change? Maybe if you've tried, some people will follow you which will MAYBE just MAYBE get the sro scene back.

Well, if they have isro/ksro server files in their hands, I think they'd bring a new server with it else let's hope for sro II since it's gonna be well advertised since it's gonna be a new game and the community would change aswell.

You mean securing the PK2 Structures? This would take tons of time to change all the formats inside the PK2 Files.
If BMS/BAN/BMT/BSR/DDJ/NVM/EFP/Whatever would have a different Format like BMS has the .DAE Format, then it would be secured and nobody could simply extract the Files and use them in their own Client.

im quite sure that once they become mainstream(more known), they will be closed to at least some module leak(and yes, those files are in hands of other ppl)

well trust me bro, some people have OR had some servers which are totally suck. like Violence online.... it was based on csro /R.. had 150 players n' then, 10 and closed.. the point is that it ain't about server files, it's about how do you really build your own management system that cannot be named as either fail / uninspired.

My point isn't just about the server files , they contribute too but what i wanted to say is that some1 with brain needs to make the server , that means , no corruption , not to close the server after 1 fcking month .... good comunity , not many gms since if u have more the chances they are corrupt rise ...... i meant that if some1 with actual brain gets hands on some good server files , u get ur silkroad times back
