the game is far from dead, at least from how I have seen others games die.
I have seen dead MMO, SRO is not dead yet since there are still people interested

a game, Tales of Pirates, got the server files got leaked and the own devs gave up saying the leak was their ruin and the game dies like 1 year later
not even pserver get as much hype as SRO does
