In your prior post you've mentioned that you came to the conclusion, by reading the threads content, that you'd most likely dislike the server.
That does imply that you relied on the trueness and the completeness of the thread, even though you pointed out that you don't care about the crowds opinion and talk. Hence you contradict yourself in your statements.

And I don't think that taking a brief look into a server is as costy as drugs, as dangerous as drugs, as addictive as drugs and I highly doubt that you'll have to meet shady people just to get at your stuff.

Having an opinion about certain subjects is important and great, but you shouldn't make it public if you didn't assure yourself of its consistence.

Also, if the source of silkroad would be leaked and released. 95% would have no clue what to do with it.
See, the difference with Silkroad and Cabal dev sections is that on Cabal they work together and then release what they have. Here on the silkroad section, its all about the money because there're alot of greedy people around here who can't earn money in a proper way.
I used to run a silkroad server last year when the files were new to get some fast cash, then I got a part-time job and quit all that **** with hosting a private server and whenever I get my pay each month I look back and I'm glad that I worked all that time in order to get these extra cash. Now, I'm not saying everyone who runs a server are after the money, some people run it because it's fun and has/had it as a hobby (synx) while they working for real, using their well earned money to make sure other people have fun. Big props for that imo, but I was never that type of guy who wanted to spend MY money which I've earned on other people so they can have fun.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents of what I think about this section.

i would like that SRO source was leaked instead of the binaries.
Also, i always thought SRO was deployed on Linux, i would like that too
imagine noobs dealing with console-only linux. that way only good teams would advertise servers
as for the money
i have my own job. Ofc seeing others get a lot of cash fast via server is worth the jelly time. But im happy right now as i can use my money freely without having the remorse someone wasted(because i cannot ensure the server to last long) their money.

Probably the only thing worth spending my money on so people can have fun is on a Cabal Online server now that the latest server files has been leaked

I really must say the section REALLY needs some limits for the server advert
It's true we mods take care, but 10(aprox) servers are advertised there daily. We can take care but it could be easier to make it like the release section and approve the threads if the requirements say so

Well since im waiting for my new graphic card to be delivered to play BF3 without lagging, i was searching for a server but none seems good enough so i don't know what to play in the mean time :/
