i it possible to edit tables via results example in ss



i want to edit things from like 3 to 1 withot finding every mob i need to edit through 2k of lines

Use UPDATE instead of SELECT.

Like, if your query is:

SELECT RefObjID FROM [SR_SHARD].[dbo].[_Char] WHERE RefObjID = 0

Change it to:

UPDATE [SR_SHARD].[dbo].[_Char] SET RefObjID = 1 WHERE RefObjID = 0

this is what im doing :

SELECT * FROM Tab_RefNest WHERE dwTacticsID = 33

now each 33 tactic id im setting from 3 to 1 so uniques like tg spawn

OR WILL THIS WORK

UPDATE Tab_RefNest SET dwMaxTotalCount=1 WHERE dwTacticsID=33

hmmm well im setting uniques from say 3 to 1 but i have 1 game server every where running 24gig ram am i ok to keep to 3 or should i go 1 ?
