[Discussion] Does server files support ............ ?
Hello e*pvperz
How its going? hope its fine there ..
My question + discussion is : does any files from ( ecsro / zszc / vsro { 1.188 - 1.193 } /br /any other files ) support windows 8 ? because windows 8 completely changed from windows 7 , at registers + .dlls ;
or it can support with compatibility only ?
Thanks for reading

only think i know is win 8 will be as fail as vista was
ill recommend to stick with win 7, but in any case, win 8 should have backward compatibility(i think)
if you talking about server side, i think is the same as many companies may migrate everything to win 8(when its out) and would want to use same apps and db systems
aside, i dont like this kind of gui
edit:
from wikipedia
Quote:
Software compatibility
Windows 8 for x86/64 processors will run most software compatible with previous versions of Windows, with the same restrictions as Windows 7: 64-bit Windows will run 64-bit and 32-bit software while 32-bit Windows will run 32-bit and 16-bit software (although some 16-bit software may require compatibility settings to be applied, or not work at all). Windows on ARM processors (WOA) will only support the applications included with the system (including some Office 15 desktop applications), supplied through Windows Update, or acquired through the Windows Store, which will only provide Metro applications. Windows on ARM will not support running, emulating, or porting existing x86/64 desktop applications, in order to ensure the quality of apps available on ARM.[87] Metro applications can be cross-compatible with both x86/64 based systems and Windows on ARM, or compiled to support a specific architecture.[88]

when win 7 was released, kaspersky released a Win 7 edition, claiming that that version was made to suit properly to win 7 environment, however, the previous version of it worked as well, i switched cuz they stopped selling that version licenses
my point is that, gui sucks and apps should work fine
why gui sucks?
because is like using a smartphone
we are using pc, for *** sake
