[Discussion] about the best server hosting service and safest one.

Hello , i would like to know and discuss about the best hosting service ...
atm i am making a good DB , with alot of ideas and balanced
something like 40 CUSTOM Unique , 20 trade pets , Party pvp areas , etc etc ...


problem is i didn't bought or rent any dedicated server before ...
and idk have any exp about it .. so i'd like to share exp here

1st : is there is any other way to host a server , than dedicated servers renting ? ofc not hamachi !!
2nd : what is the best hosting site in your opinion ?
3rd : what is the best dedicated server to hold 500+ player without all the 80- MOBS AND GEARS [e.g CORE I5 , 8GB RAM , etc ]

Core2Quad 2.4Ghz and Ram 8GB Could handel about 800~1000 player,
Server4you.com is a cheap dedicated server host (but accept paypal and direct payments)

If you got a good PC and good internet speed you could host your server on your home PC

i already got a I7 , 8GB RAM , One terrabyte , but it is a laptop , can't hold 24/7

no , pc got more power handle to catch enough power from the cable { if main board working more than 1 month pr at least 2weeks w/o any rest maybe lap got burned ( inside board ships ) }

For a starting server(low Player numbers) you can use server4you.de/.com
For bigger Servers I would prefer hostkey or isgenug

I don't turn off my PC since 5 months or so. It is not bad, in fact is better than restart the PC very often, because metal contact dilate and contract inside the components and can broke/lose quality. Electronic components such as PC's are made for long-term runs.

I was talking @Laptop's .. Also PC designed for launching for more than 9~17 month working probably .. rest it by turning off can make main board work for long years

If you can find a host that supports MB you should exchange money with a trusted escrow to another payment processor such as PayPal is which is the most recommended one, but you may risk a limitation as they're strict when it comes to sending, and receiving money.
