I promised him that I won't tell anyone his name/contact info. I paid 800€.

i guess he has his reasons
someone will buy them and release for the lulz, or like crayu get hacked and leaked his files
btw, u have complete files or this ones miss JmxMessenger and original ceritifcation?
Edit: 800 eurs could be to exensive, i think that if someone really worked on the file cherno gave, it could make them work

Credits goes to XxDevilxX from Silkroadaddiction forums.
There will be a new Silkroad Online called Black Rogue (THSRO Thailand Silkroad). ini3 the company who owns Black Rogue bought rights from Joymax means they get the server files/client and the Silkroad engine from ksro, so they can do whatever they want with Silkroad Online but need it to share with Joymax.
I think there will be alot more updates come out and they will the make different to the original Silkroad. Some of you will say...
