LoL my server got hacked, i need to get some info

hello guys,

today my server got hacked,
how ? = i rlly don't know !
he changed Alot of chars Password, and there no page for change password
he succss to enter my database
and add GM to him self !! [Weird]
he told me my id+pw !! [that start freak my out]

...
SO? what do you think?


i shutdown the server i shutdown my pc for find how to fix it

i taked backup from database already

but i want to know how that ***HOLE enter my database

No seriously, what do you expect? Is obvious that if you don't know how to protect your server soon or later it will get hacked. You need a lot more than a dedicated server and the serverfiles. What you must wonder is why you made a server if you have no knoweldge or experience for protect it enough well.

I feel sorry for your players.

And I'm telling this because I already accessed many servers out there because of stupid security bugs that they had. The security on most of them is really low.

if you read thread about the exploit(dont know if mod deleted it)
there is a hack, even public
that can grant you access to smc, get your sql login info and stuff
the only solution right now is to block all ports except 2 of them, ditn rember which, illl update post with them

Its not good solution LastTim3..
Better he can get some knowledge(himself) or get a good team members who you think have much better knowledge about Vsro files...If you don't got any of this do what LastTim3 told..

all ports was close when that guy hacked my pc,
i did what ppl say

close ports,
only 2 ports open for gataway

but still he hacked my server

if u got hacked from billing script so u could run the billing in your local ,
i don't read ur thread well so if u use hamachi it could work too ,
from iis choose ip 127.0.0.1
and in server.cfg change the billing url (To 127.0.0.1: port)
and close billing port from firewall (block)
