problem with Sea Emu

i really wanna make my priate server and i found this site when i was searching ..
so i downloaded from post here the Sea Emu and the client then i started to do step by step BUT

When i click the crack no thing happens .. and even when i try to open Shadow.exe nothing happen ..

so my questions is ..

whats the best client now and the best Emu. (plz give me links thank you).
why the Emu dosn't work with me ?
