hmmm how i should to say this... u know... this problem when i can "send a problem" or "dont send" i have two options. this problem if u know what i mean.

delete all things of silkroad.
then download new and update all.

Error code 2 means, as coleburto says, that sro_client is missing.
You don't have to reinstall the game, just go to the ecsro forum and download the No-DC client and put it into your ecsro folder.
Also make shure that you have disabled th resident shield on the ecsr folder.

antiviruses like avg do this because they think the sro_client.exe is a virus. just open your virus vault through the control panel of whatever antivirus you use (if avg then its like scanner -> view virus vault) and find the file sro_client.exe and restore it.

i had That Problem wich says that i need Direct c so i Changed that Thing in the Properties in Silkroad.exe then i make it That thing wich says (service pack 2) Guys i am Talking about Sj Sro the new game and when i Solved this Problem i got another one says Error code (2) and i want to solve this one too but i wish if i solved it to not have another one

Hi,
I had the same problem [error code (2)] and by the weight of time looking for solutions. In the end I found it.
You probably have no-dc. Replace this in a normal file sro_client. And enjoy the game

Error code 2 is when sro_client.exe is not found. Either it's not there or your antivirus blocked it.

I wish I had read one more post down cuz i deleted all the silkroad stuff in my folder after uninstalling now im reinstalling, ugh read the whole thread next time everyone lol
