if we use the english media.pk2 we cant get in game without sockcap or easy2game

So with the new patch the Media.pk2 file prevent you from logging on?

You can login with the patch media.pk2 but everything is in Chinese. The old English media.pk2 file doesn't work with the patch. The "new" media.pk2 is just the first English media file where most of the things were in English but not all.

So with the "new" english media.pk2 will it turn most the stuff into english or will we have to use the chinese on for right now?

Most. Quests are still in Chinese. Skills, Gears, NPC's, monsters, and info screens are all in English.

Hello,
I am just trying to edit the divisions.txt file in the old Media.PK2 for SJSRO. I just want to add the new server I.P. so that I have a default Media.pk2 with just the New server in it.
The Problem: Whenever I use the PK2 editor to do anything with the media.pk2 file it ends up with a damaged file. Even if I do not make any modifications to the files. I have tried just extracting the Divisions.txt file out of the media.pk2 and then importing it back in without any alterations...
