Moin zusammen
Zunächst ein paar Worte in meiner Muttersprache bevor ich zu den englischen "Release Notes" komme:
- Ich habe mich dazu entschieden, meinen privaten "Mod" for den aktuellen iSROBOT 1.66 zu veröffentlichen. Grund? Ich komme eher aus der Linux-Ecke wo "Informationsfreiheit" noch groß geschrieben wird. Das großkotzige, (pseudo)-elitäre und ausbeuterische Verhalten bestimmer Communities ist kaum noch zu überbieten und Scammer/"Hacker" warten an jeder Ecke und wollen einem ihren neuesten Keylogger (getarnt als "neuster softmod", haxcrax, o.ä.) andrehen... dem möchte ich ein wenig entgegenwirken.
Jetzt stehe ich vor der Aufgabe meinen "Chesmod" einer leid- und wurmgeplagten Community anzudrehen und mir ist klar, dass ein weiterer Downloadlink mit reichlich Skepsis aufgenommen werden wird ...
Ich würde mich daher darüber freuen, wenn evtl. einer der Administratoron oder ein paar "mutige" das Programm für die Community testen und absegnen würde(n) Alle mit gesunder Paranoia sollten vielleicht erstmal abwarten.
Um ein wenig Kontrolle über die Verbreitung zu bewahren und das Programm vor Manipulation und Weiterverbreitung anderer zu schützen gibt es eine Seite zum Chesmod: (
), auf der der Downloadlink zur aktuellen Version zu finden ist, bzw. zukünftig über Updates etc. informiert wird. Zur eigenen Sicherheit solltet ihr nur den aktuellen Downloadlink auf dieser Seite benutzen!
Das Programm bzw. die GUI ist noch im Alphastadium, aber sollte hoffentlich trotzdem bei den meisten korrekt funktionieren

0. Preamble

I. Preconditions, limitations and security
* If you downloaded this program from another link than the one on
IMMEDIATELY DELETE IT and visit
for the correct download link and to look out for newer versions.
* Make sure you have iSROBOT 1.66 downloaded and installed somewhere on your hdd.
* The program doesn't change (or depend on) the original Silkroad client. So you can use the mod of your choice with it
* Chesmod WILL NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES send out any packet to a remote IP address! Everything is done LOCALLY!
II. How to use
* Simply start the Chesmod.exe and click on "START" to activate the program. If you start the program for the first time, you will be asked for the location of your srobot.exe after you clicked the "START" button. The program window mustn't be closed because it maintains a local server for the Bot to connect to. It can be minimized to the system tray though if you click on "minimize" button of the window.
You can normally start Silkroad over the "finger icon" of the Bot then, while Chesmod works in the background
III. Features
* Modded and cleaned up Bot setting windows (still look ugly, but hey this is the v0.1alpha ;P)
* Auto chat-back for private messages enabled
* Botting without limitation
