i got a problem:i installed sro bot in a folder,softmod__fixed_v2 is in the silkroad root folder!
i setted bot`s config file to the silkroad.exe BUT when i click start game on the bot`s launcer the game`s launcher apears and i click start game but nothing happens ! anyone knows why?

.net framework 2, and make sure your using an updated winrar to extract softmod.

go to the filter tab in the bot, find the materials you dont want, and set it to "dont pick". make sure to press "save edit" and "add filter" afterwards.

The game just stucks and i get a sro_client error message after i clicked on my character and Start.

ya... i got that right now too... some friend too...
there arent updates i think...
but its just crash on start, after choose char...

afaik, a name is created serverside, it has nothing to do with anything you modify on the client. When you create a new char, the request is sent to the server to create a new profile, and if the name is already taken or forbidden, it just doesnt happen.

a swear filter remover is also kinda useless, because joymax hardly blocks any words anyway. I can go tell anyone on sro to "*** off"

most likely a fake, id advise not to download until someone scans. I only have a 12kb/s upload so i wont be uploading 50mb files for a while
