Seriously now, thats not how contracts work, its something called ''Seller,provider,etc .. to client privacy''.
Just as a lawyer doesnt discuss with others about his clients case, or a doctor doesnt disclose to other random peopl information about a patient, same way a hosting company doesnt give away names, addresses, phone numbers to a random person.
Such things are disclosed to an authority organ, like the police, in the case they need it in a case, and have a warrant.

First off, I did not ask for it, and second the Facebook account that you are most likely referring to was created within a 5 mile perimeter of the originating IP address of his home address. The info for his home, and phone were taken, not necessarily given to me from the hosting company on a "Hi how are you doing I need this guys info" basis. So discussing law to me is not going to change the fact that I got his info. And Ren, it is his info and it is his picture, because there are no other Ulrich Kunaths within 20 miles of where he lives, and I doubt someone would drive out of their way to mask their IP address to make a FB account.

All the facts support each other, saying that he wont give you the info does not mean that I cannot get it just cause he wont give it to you.

I know first hand, that when you are online, you should operate under the assumption that someone can see everything your doing. Wether there are laws against it or not, does not change anything.

I think, Mass, you are going about the wrong way to get an SBot account since the only people that are able to supply you with one are either 3rd party or accounts by bot-cave moderators. By doing this you are definitely putting yourself in a position were they will be unwilling to help you.

Currently the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) broadly requires that the mailing address, phone number and e-mail address of those owning/managing a domain name to be made publicly available through the "WHOIS" directories

I have tried contacting them via email before I went to these lengths. As everyone else has as well and has gotten a non-response from them with the supplied emails on their website.

I have sent over 5 emails, and all have gone unanswered. If there is a better solution or alternative I would be glad to take it. To me it seems their idea of dealing with a problem is simply to ignore it, since that is all I have gotten.

The way I see it, they can stop ignoring people and start helping. What I am doing, one of three things can happen.

1. They can either stop ignoring me, and start helping.
2. They can stop ignoring me, and not help me.
3. They can continue ignoring me, and the current situation will stay the same.

The position they are in now is one that forces them to do something. Unless he doesn't mind unwanted home calls.

I mean no disrespect to him or to his mods, but when you blatantly ignore people kinda sends a bad signal to others. The least he could have done is sent am email to me letting me know, rather than flat out ignoring me. Maybe he should go back to college for business management and develop some people skills.

You could just rent an account from the mods, they post about it all the time. It's the same price.

Registrations on the forums for new members = closed, so basically nobody can view these threads. Honestly, it kinda doesn't make sense, since the people that are registered members on the forums already all have sbot accounts. Try logging out of your bot-cave forum account, and then view the forums, or try to create a forum account, you cannot. So basically they closed off the forums and sbot to everyone that doesn't already have an account. O.o
