SBot is a paid bot, the forum is mainly for paid users, seeing as the mods don't really pay attention to the other part, it needs to be strict otherwise the same questions will be asked over and over, If people know the consequences of being a bit stupid, and asking questions that are right below their new post, then maybe people will learn.

I don't have mod rights anywhere but the old eSRO forum, places like that do not need strict rules, like here for example, you can't ban every other person because they double posted, etc, but SBot forum is different, remember it's purpose, and If a mod doesn't know an answer, he won't answer, he will just wait for other people to answer, then lock it.

I think they have been told to be strict VIA Shiva, to try keep the forum in order, but I guess even all the bans,locks, won't change ****, because people are just too **** ignorant.

Lock the post, warn or ban the user(if it persists). We can't just simply leave the post open to fill up with spam? If a question is answered, we lock it. No need to leave it open.
Maybe users got warned a bit early, but most of them reply positivly (if that's even a word) by saying, sorry I haven't read that or this, I'll be sure not to do this or that again. We have to be strict, if we do not, then the forum will be full of people suggesting, spamming, asking for reopening. That's not our goal.

And like theoneofgod stated, it's a paid bot, our paid users prior on the non paying ones, although I try to help them out as much as possible. But, in that particular section(free one) we have to, mostly, lock, warn or ban users because they are too ignorant to even try to read a poste or a sticky here and there.

You said you were a paid user, then I wouldn't have any idea when a mod would've 'misbehaved' towards you.

Well, this said glad, you were part of the sbot community and goodbye.

my subscription of SBot ended on 21.03.2009 but i still have acces to the sbot costumer forum and i still can repurchase sbot.
so it is wrong that old costumer becomes new costumer when they dont buy sbot.
