Here's the tutorial to edit media.pk2....
For Example, we will edit a 1st degree blade to a 9 degree blade..
Juz follow the simple rules
Difficulty: Easy
Step1:
open ur Silkroad folder (usually on C:\Program Files\Silkroad\)
copy media.pk2 to my documents or anywhere u want(it will serve as your back-up. Juz in case u make a mistake)
then copy it on ur desktop(this will be the one ur going 2 edit.)
Step2:
open ur hex editor(look in downloads section)
Step3:
Click and Drag media.pk2 to the hex editor.
Step4:
Click on search button on the toolbar and select replace.
Step5:
U must check the boxes exactly as i did.
Step6:
In "Find box" fill it with item\china\weapon\blade_01.ddj
And in the "Replace box" fill it with item\china\weapon\blade_09.ddj
-"the colored number there represents the degree of the weapon"-
Once done, hit "Replace All".
And it should look like this after pressing replace.
Step8:
The next thing u should do is replace the .ddj with .bsr
-"the same code juz change the .ddj with .bsr and hit "replace all"."-
Step9:
Once the steps above are followed....
Save the File....
Step10:
If u finished saving the file..
Copy it
and paste in ur Silkroad Folder.
And RUN SILKROAD.....
PS: close hex editor b4 u run SRO.exe

The procedures are almost the same with weapon and armor editing
For example we will edit One of the cold buffs..
WEAK GUARD OF ICE TO FIFTH BOOK
Difficulty:Easy
Step1:
open up ur hex editor...
Step2:
click on search(its in the toolbar) and select replace..
Once the a box pops up..
put on FIND -->> cold_ganggi_keep_a.efp
And on REPLACE -->> cold_ganggi_keep_e.efp
-"the colored letter there represents the book--"- got it!
then hit "Replace All"--
And ur Done"--
Save the file and play SRO"--
RESULT
here some other codes.
fire_ganggi_keep_a.efp <--- fire buff series
cold_ganggi_keep_a.efp <--- ice guard series
(remember that u can change its book upto letter E..
Letter E book is n0t released by Joymax but u can try by changing book A to E
AND FOR NUKES
Its the same like changing Buffs just the Codes are different...so ill try to write a little Tut how to change your nukes ^^
Ok...as usuall before u do anything u make a backup of your Media.pk2 when you screw up anything u dont need to reinstall SRO ^^
When you got tht done open your Media.Pk2 in XVI32...
Next u Click on Search -> Replace and make sure you highlight the same boxes like in the Pic...
In the Search Box you type in the nuke you allready got skilled and you want to change...ill post all codes at the end ^^
and in the Replace Box you type in the nuke you want to have...
Hit Replace all...
Save your Media.pk2
Start SRO and enjoy your new Nukes
So here are the Codes for the Nukes:
Fire Nukes:
1. fire_gigongsul_fire_a.efp -> 1st Fire Nuke (Flame Wave Arrow)
2. fire_gigongsul_fire_b.efp -> 2nd Fire Nuke (Flame Wave Burning)
3. fire_gigongsul_fire_c.efp -> 3rd Fire Nuke (Flame Wave Wide)
4. fire_gigongsul_fire_d.efp -> 4th Fire Nuke (Flame Wave Bomb)
These are the new ones tht are not skillable atm in iSRO so i dunno the names
5. fire_gigongsul_fire_e.efp -> looks allmost same as the 2nd one just bit bigger ^^
6. fire_gigongsul_fire_f.efp -> looks like 3rd one just bigger too ^^
7. fire_gigongsul_fire_g.efp -> kinda weird Nuke couldnt find out now how to edit it right but im workin on that one ^^
Lightning Nukes:
1. lightning_storm_shoot_a.efp -> 1st and 2nd Lightning Nuke (Wolf and Tiger Thunderbolt) cuz they look the same its the same Code...
2. lightning_storm_shoot_b.efp -> 3rd Lightning Nuke (Horse Thunderbolt)
3. lightning_storm_shoot_c.efp -> guess its gonna be the 4th but again dont know the name
Cold Nukes:
1. cold_gigongsul_ice_a.efp -> 1st Cold Nuke (Snow Shot - Ice Shot)
2. cold_gigongsul_ice_b.efp -> 2nd Cold Nuke (Snow Shot - Ice Rain)
3. cold_gigongsul_ice_c.efp -> 3rd Cold Nuke (Snow Shot - Double Shot)
4. cold_gigongsul_ice_d.efp -> looks like Ice Rain just a bit different...
5. cold_gigongsul_ice_e.efp -> this one is kinda cool a big icewall appears from the ground...
So to make an little example if you want to change your 3rd Fire Nuke (The Komet thing) into the bigger one u got to do this...

AND FOR THE PETS
Step1:
Open up XVI32..
Step2:
Go to search and select replace..
Step3:
And fill up FIND w/ cos\p_wolf_01.bsr
and on SEARCH put on mob\europe\wolf.bsr
Step4:
HIT REPLACE ALL!!
and ur d0ne!!
Save it and run SRO

AND FOR TRANSPORT
Step1:
Open up ur Hex editor(XVI32 or others)
Step2:
Go to Search and click on Replace
Step3:
Then put on these codes
on find

the color blue number represents the kind of horse
i put one coz i want to edit the first horse "RED HORSE"
on replace
mob\china\bluetiger.bsr
and hit "REPLACE ALL"
save it and run SRO..
