it only changes the look.^^ and shields work lol u maybe typed somethin wrong. and go to my computer in the start menu then open c drive then go to program files then ull see a folder named silkroad

Guys i am new here and i want to asking something about this PK2 file, i saw in Athens server one Char named [GM]bplease in gold color, i asking him how he did this and he tell my by PK2 file but how i saw him?
The other think is that i saw in taklamakan one char to had 9 degrees weapon (Glavie) how did i saw him too?
Are u sure that just u can see these changes of PK2 files?

@ geosep: Don't know about the GM guy.. And about the glavie. Mabye you changed a certain degree glavie into a 9degree glavie, so you would see everybody else with that glavie with a 9degree, or mabye he was a GM, I'm not sure..
@crowper: Try reinstalling SilkRoad and/or re-download your Media.pk2 file, You probably just did something wrong, just follow the insttructions and you should be ok.. Also try not to make something like a bow into a glavie or somehting like that.. Could end up fatal :P

I copied the text from here to the hex program, and I'm wearing 4 degree shield so XX to 04. And changed the other one to 08.

But I see other ppl with 4 degree shield that looks like 8, but mine I don't see like 8 degree. I got a lvl 26 shield.

For the rest everything works fine.

Humm.. Did you do the .bsr and .ddj not justg oneof them? As for other people wearing that shield thats becasue it changes the loog of the 4degree sheield yeah? So it woudlnt take anybody elses 4degree sheild as a 4degree sheild it would count them as a 8degree shield.. U SHOULD see other people wearing the sheield.. But i dont know why it doesnt show up on you.. Make sure you did item\china\shield\shield_04.ddj and item\china\shield\shield_08.ddj and item\china\shield\shield_04.bsr and item\china\shield\shield_08.bsr

glad u could get it to work karma:P but im not sure how to chnage lvl of an item. just the degree, ask a good .pk2 editor
