[Guide] Warrior/Cleric

WARRIOR/CLERIC

Warrior/cleric is one of the best build in SRO which is stated to be as overpowered! Actually what makes it over powerful is the way you play it! In this guide I will try to help the warriors out there to max there skills of playing their char and will try to help those who are going to make a warrior.

SP NEEDED:

If you want to have all the skills maxed in both the masteries till lvl 100 then the sp required is:
Warrior: 1,551,984
Cleric: 1,100,167

But, we will take just the necessary skills instead of wasting sp on useless stuff that warrior don’t needs! According to this guide you will need:
Warrior: 1,143,436
Cleric: 776,775

Now that’s too much SP right there but it will be worth it!

FARMING:

So total sp needed is: 1,920,211
At present the best three spots for farming are:
Ongs: Really Crowded
Closier/Punishers: Only 2-3 spots but they are occupied as well!
Huns(lvl 36-37): Many spots and less crowded.

To get the best sp, The monster should be 11 levels higher to you and you must have a gap of 9 between your skills level and your character’s level.
Farm 1.5M sp and leave rest as you will make 400k sp on your way from lvl 30 to 100!

ARMOR
As to take advantage of passive skills from the cleric sub class, we will use light armor.
Light Armor: Average magical and physical defense.
Heavy Armor: High physical defense and low magical defense. You get screwed against magical attacks.
Robe: High Magical Defense but low physical defense. Melee attacks will hit you harder.

SO stick with Light Armor. If you will wear robe or heavy armor, you won't get the passive skills in the Glory skill line of cleric class!

SKILLS:

WARRIOR:

Frenzy Buster
A skill line with all active skill books. All the skills in this line must be taken.

Taunting Target
This skill is used to taunt the target, which can be a monster only. It cannot be used on other players. This skill must be taken as it is pretty useful in parties. Max It!

Vital Increase
This skill increases the Total HP by certain amount. It is really helpful in parties for tanking monsters. Also it can be used to take down wizards on life control/turnover in general PVP or Jobbing! Max It!

Descry
Enables you and all the players with a certain range to see the players in stealth state. To view players under stealth, your descry level must be equal to or higher than the stealth level of other player. Useful in PvP but no use in parties! Due to stealth hacks people don’t use it that much! So its up to you to max it or not! Want to save sp, then don’t max it!

Sprint Assault
It is the best skill that warrior have as an advantage over all other builds. It helps you to storm into enemy and can knockback enemy at a probability of 45% and can also stun the enemy at a probabaility of 25%. Its very very useful, Max It!

Howling Shout
Gives a loud roar to provoke enemies around you and draws their attention towards you. Its very useful in parties, So, Max It!

Iron Skin
Raises your physical strength by certain amount for 60 secs. This skill is very important to warrior in PvP, jobbing as well as in PvE. Max It!

Mana Skin
Raises your magical defense by certain amount. This skill is very useful like the iron skin. So, Max It!

GUARD BARRIER:
A line of active skill books in which almost all skills are based on party grinding. All the skills are for buffing other players.

Pain Quota
Enhances the unity of sharing pain with party members. It creates a protecting layer of unity for one of the party members, excluding yourself, for a certain period of time, so that the damage inflicted upon one member can be evenly distributed to all party members. It shares 35% of damage with party members. Itws very useful in party grinding, Max It!

Physical Fence
Creates for only one member a protecting layer consisting of warriors' conviction. By using the Skill, you divert damage from one member to yourself for a certain period of time. You cannot use the Skill for yourself and the protecting layer disappears when you go beyond a certain range. Keep this skill at 6 otherwise it will get you killed if a lot of damage is taken by buffed player. So don’t max it but keep it at level 6!

Magical Fence
Creates for only one member a protecting layer consisting of warriors' guarding conviction. By using the Skill, you divert part of magical damage from one member to yourself for a certain period of time. You cannot use the Skill for yourself and the protecting layer disappears when you go beyond a certain range. Kepp this one too at 6 if you wanna survive. So don’t max itinstead keep it at 6!

Protect
Provokes the enemies to divert some of their hostility from one member to yourself for a certain time. It is useful only and only in party grinding. SO its upto you to max it or not. If you want to save SP then don’t max it!

Physcical Screen
Creates a defensive layer made of your strong commitment to one member and increases that member's Melee defensive power for a certain period of time. You cannot use the Skill for yourself. Max It!

Morale Screen
For the target of protection, this skill creates a defensive shield made from the warriors strong spritual strength, and increases the targets magical defense. Cannot be used on yourself. Max It!

Ultimate Screen
For the target of protection, this skill creates a defensive shield made from the warriors faith of protection, that absorbs physical and magical attacks. Cannot be used on yourself. Max It!

ONE HANDED LORD
The offensive power is relatively lower as compared to other warrior builds but have a high physical and magical defense.

One Handed Arms
Increases your Melee offensive power by a certain percentage by practicing the Skill to concentrate all your internal strength on flourishing your one-hand sword. The Skill works when the attack is made with a one-hand sword. Max It!

Power Shield
Enhances your Melee defensive power by equipping your one-hand sword and shield with your strong defense commitment. Max It!

Blockade
Enhances your blocking rate by learning how to effectively deal with the one-hand sword and the shield in your respective hands. Max It!

Critical Void
Lowers the likelihood of suffering a deathblow from the enemy by obtaining the Skill to protect yourself against your weaknesses. Max It!

ONE HANDED SWORD
As one handed have low offense, it is not that helpful in PVP but is good in PVE. As I am making a build to own other builds by spending least amount of SP, so I will max only a few sills in the skill line.

Shield Trash
Wields your shield strongly to inflict damage upon enemies on the front. Perplexed by the sudden attack, the enemies step back or slow down temporarily. This skill knocks back the enemy and also have a probability to give dull status to the enemy. Max It!

Shield Crush
Deals a serious blow to enemies around you by wielding your shield containing your strong determination to battle. Enemies outpowered by the strength from the flourished shield either step back or slow down temporarily. This is the next skill that happens after maxing shield trash, so Max It!

TWO HANDED LORD
Max all the skills in this line as this is going to your main warrior build.

Two Handed Arms
Enhances your Melee offensive power by a certain percentage by practicing Skills to concentrate the energies inherent in your body onto your two hands to flourish your two-hand sword. The Skill works when the two-hand sword Skills are used. Max It!

Concentration
Enhances your concentration on battles to increase your chance of dealing a serious blow to the enemy. A passive skill that increases critical, so max it!

Damage Return
Returns a certain proportion of the Melee damage aimed at yourself by obtaining the Skill to aggressively fight against the enemy's Melee attacks. Reflects the damage inflicted on you back to the enemy. Max It!

TWO HANDED SWORD
You will need all the skills in this line as they have the maximum offensive power.

Bash
Attacks a subject by flourishing the two-hand sword as hard as you can. You can use the Skill on a subject who is lying on the ground. Enemies that suffer a strong blow are pushed back. Max It!

Turn Rising
Allows you to deal a blow to the enemy by turning halfway around and slaying the enemy with the two-hand sword diagonally from bottom to top. Those failing to counter the attack are likely to be knocked down. Max It!

WarCry
Gives a shout that improves your commitment to battles so that your Melee damage can be enhanced temporarily. Increases physical attack power for certain period of time. Max It!

Charge Swing
Deals a huge blow to the enemy by strongly rushing toward the subject--when it is restrained, asleep, faint or slowing down--and lowering the two-hand sword to hit the enemy with it from below; it can be used on a subject lying down on the ground. Max It!

Maddening
Consumes your HP to awake your anger inside you and flourish the two-hand sword at the enemy as if drawing a huge circle. The attack with strong power penetrates through the enemy to deal a blow to other enemies close by; those failing to counter the attack become either faint or knocked back. You cannot use the Skill when your HP is below 10%. Max it as this is the skill that will give you highest possible critical among other warrior builds, also it knocksback the enemy with certain probability!

Triple Swing
Strongly wields the two-hand sword at the enemy, dealing 3 deadly blows Can be used on enemies lying on the ground, and will deal greater damage to enemies when they are under bind, sleep, stun, dull status.

DareDevil
Awakes vicious madness like the devil by consuming own HP, and wields the two-hand sword twice in a circle at the enemy. This attack with great power will penetrate the enemy and attack nearby enemies as well, and those who cannot block this attack will be knock backed. This skill cannot be used when HP is below 10%. Max It! This will be your main skill to finish the enemy in one go!

DUALAXE LORD
No need to max all the skills in this line as we will take only the necessary ones.
Note: All skills in this line are passive.

Dual Arms
Increases your Melee offensive power to a certain extent by acquiring the skill to put strong power on the dual axe. It works when dual axe skills are applied. Max It!

DualDefense
Enhances your Melee defensive power by learning the skill to effectively deal with the enemy's physical attacks with the dual axe.

Accuracy
Enhances your hit rate by learning how to use the dual axe--identifying the enemy's weaknesses and accurately aiming them. It works when dual axe Skills are applied. This skill increases attack rating by certain amount so max it!

DUAL AXE
We will max only a few useful skills in this line as well. All skills are active in this line.

Double Twist
Deals a blow to the enemy by diagonally flourishing the dual axe twice at a rapid pace. Those failing to overcome the shock are likely to bleed or faint. This skill gives 2 successive shots with a certain probability to stun and to inflict bleed status on the enemy. Max It!

Sudden Twist
Strongly attacks the enemy by flourishing your dual axe with your hands moving so fast that they become virtually invisible. Those failing to overcome the shock either bleed or faint. This skill gives three successive shots with a certain probability to stun and inflict bleed status on the enemy. The bleed status decreases the physical defense of the enemy which helps to deal greater damage. So, Max It!

CLERIC:
Cleric is the best sub for a warrior main build. But a warrior just need a few skills from this sub class. Considering the amount of SP needed, we will max only certain skills that comes handy in battle as well as parties.

WARRIOR vs ANY OTHER BUILD:
The ways and tactics to win over other builds is different for each build.

Against Chinese:
Vs Glavier or Hybrid Spear:
Stay buffed up which means with Holy recovery division and Heling Orbit as well as Holy Word. First try to stun the person using the sudden twist skil frlom dual axes and after try to knockback the opponent till you are able to put dull status on the enemy. Then in the end all you got to do is “DareDevil” and Game over for the opponent.

Vs Blader or S/S nuker: Apply the same steps listed above trying to avoid the knockdowns by knocking back/stunning and knocking down the blader. Blader is the toughest opponent. It takes a long time to defeat a blader.

Vs Archer: Here is where most of the warriors make a mistake. The archers have two knockbacks. After archer casts first knockback, the warrior casts sprint assault to hit back but gets knocked back by the second one. After that archers mostly try to hit warrior with strong bow and if the warrior gets stunned then the game is over in one critical. So better is to let the archer cast both the knockbacks and then storm in with sprint assault and take over.

Against Euro:
Vs Rogue: Toughest opponent as you can be gone in one critical. In the presence of rogue under stealth, a warrior must stay in cleric so as to keep the physical defense high. Otherwise rogues are not of a big problem if warrior is able to sprint into the rogue.

Vs Warlock: Just keep your recovery up with all the buffs along with Holy word, you will be able to tackle that bloodsucker!!

Vs Wizard: Well a wizard can easily one hit you if he is on Life Turnover. So its better to stay in Vital while a wizard is invisible! Once you have stormed into wizard always use knockdown. A knocked down wizard never gets up!

My Skill Bars:

Note: Please let me know if you find any mistakes, i will correct them ASAP. I was too lazy to go all over again after spending 5 hours in making it!

In healing cycle you have to select yourself, this takes time whereas healing orbit can be casted without chracter selection. And in pvp there is never that much time to select yourself and buff!

Taunting target is good for paties but if you want to go solo then there is no point of getting this skill!

It's a cool build, but most skills in cleric aren't need, like it's said up there. You only need Reverse Oblation/Immolation, the other's are useless. Mortal Recovery line is useless aswell, you don't need those skills, or else you would make a cleric build, not a Warrior.
From the Recovery Line, you only need Healing Cycle or Orbit, not both. The other 2 skills there are useless... From Blessed Recovery Line, you just need the Heling Divison and Bless (ofc, the Holy Recovery Division aswell...)
Glory Armor and Favor Armor only work with a Cleric Rod I think, at least it doesn't work for me with just light armor.
Blessing Recovery Line is useless. Every single skill in it.

Why do I say those are useless? The point of Warrior/Cleric is tanking, not healing or buffing, and most cleric buffs disappears after you change to sword again or w/e.
Also, if you're going to bot all the way to 100, I'd recommend not to pick 1h, since it's hard to bot with it (I think sroking might handle it well, but other bots won't).

Just my opinion though, I'm using this build, and at lv40 (yes, the char is new) I'm tanking mobs 5 lvls higher than me, and I left it botting 50 hours straight and only died 10 times. And yes, it's still there.

If you don't have the chance to farm all that SP, pick just 2h or Axes, and farm the rest later, I don't recommend doing it all at once by yourself, you won't make it...

Good guide overall, but needs a lot of fixing, most of those things are kinda pointless for a tanker...

First, thnx for posting in my thread and giving some valuable points. About the healing cycle, i did mention that you can dlvl it later when you get healing orbit.
Moreover, i made this guide for party grinding and pvp. So i picked only the useful skills that come handy in a pvp. If you have any valuable information, i would love to add it to my guide and credits will go to you! But, keep in mind that this guide is for party grinding and pvp, not for solo botting!

Warriors are great solo botters, but even better in party grinding, no doubt about that What I was trying to say is, Cleric buffs are useless, both in party or solo, because in Party, the main purpose of the warrior, is to tank tank tank, it won't leave much room for buffs. Of course Healing Cycle/Orbit is always a great way to regain health and it's also fast, and it is in my opinion, the only cleric buff warriors should have, besides Bless and Recovery Division

Anyways, I like your guide a lot, but you could add some stuff to the pvp area imo. i'll give you a hand tomorow, I'm going to have some sleep now :O

Few Comments :P

1st - Robes have an advantage you didn't mention, due to faith passive at 70+ it adds additional mp reduction on cleric skills (in addition to the 20% reduce that already exists on robes) so you'll be using around 2/3 the mp on every cleric skill that is listed which is definitely helpful.

2nd - The group healing skills don't neccessarily have to be maxed (group recovery, healing breath, etc) due to weapon reflect just leaving them around 70-80 leaves a way smaller impact on the healing power than it does on your sp :P (level 90+ skills are expensive) and also less mp is a good thing.

3rd - Same as 2nd, skills like taunting target and howling shout also have weapon reflect so even at low level they'll still agro mobs effectively and save a bundle of sp (if it matters :P)

4th - The skill "Protect" is extremely useful, in medusa you can use it to do the bug where you use protect with over 50% agro absorption on 2 wizards, use an agro attack on medusa and run out of her range but within her sight (so she tries to attack you but is stuck in her bubble) and the wizards can attack her forever without getting attacked back because all the agro from them goes to the warrior so medusa just gets increasingly more agro towards the warrior.

5th - Healing cycle is faster and costs less mp than orbit, so if you're fast I'd recommend keeping it to use in 1 vs 1...and if you're not fast than this build isn't for you anyways cuz you have to be coordinated enough to swap between 4 weapons as is lol.

Other than that, pretty good :P

As the title says, this will be a guide for the Warrior/Cleric build at Cap 100. Notice that this guide may not be that good when the new cap (105) is released, but we gotta wait to see what does cap105 brings us. Before starting, let me just say that this is my first guide ever, but I will really make an effort to make it the best possible, and with the least errors possible (english is not my mother tongue ;)) One more thing: This is the way I see how a warrior/cleric should be skilled...
Warrior-Rogue, Warrior-Cleric , Warrior-Warlock
