[GUIDE]Ice Blader

:]
i found this guide..

so .. first of all:its not made by me ^^

Quote:
blade uses a lot of fast, heavy conditioning chains to deal max damage. Their chains can go up to like 6 hits per attack. therefore, if u use the ice imbue, every single one of those hits in the chain has a chance to frostbite/ freeze. this turns into a huge annoyance for the enemy, and a great defense for the blader, making them even harder to kill (you already have a sheild as well). plus, if the blader gets bleed onto you, in many cases ur a goner.

Basic Info on your ice blader:

FULL STR!!!!

Armor: Garments. (speed, u have a lot of health, and str natuarally raises ur phys defense)

Weap: Blade+sheild duh

First of all, here is a mastery level explaination (for new players who dont know, or for ppl new to chinnese, or for those who just dont get it):

Hit S in game and look at the bottom right of that window (your skills). In blue, it should say something like 34/300 (everyones will vary). In china, you can only have a combined mastery level of 300. In europe, you get 2 mastery levels for every level you gain, so these systems are different. Basically, chinese characters can have more skills and masteies, and build up faster, but cost a lot more sp.

soooo wen i say 80 cold 80 bicheon and you can choose between 80 fire or 80 lightning it is a math equation, because: 80 cold+ 80 bicheon+80 fire + 80 lightning= 320 (TOO HIGH)
So you have to choose to make it:
80 cold + 80 bicheon + 80 fire +60 light=300
OR
80 cold+80 bicheon+80 light+60 fire= 300

Remember: mastery level can only match your level, read the sp farming guide for details on gaps.

Basically, just level up BICHEON, COLD, FIRE, AND LIGHT, and dont worry about anything untill level 60. at level 60, pick either fire or lightning, AND STOP LEVELING IT!! (do that and your fine)

MASTERIES:

Now some of you may be saying, how do i manage masteries? well u want ice to be 80, Bicheon to be 80, and then you can choose (i suggest fire 80 because it ups phys damage, but if u want speed and other stuff go light 80 instead)

So
bicheon 80
cold 80
fire 80
light 60
[Fire and light are player preference, go for fire for magical defense and physical power, or light for speed and parry ratio]

Now for the skills: (exact tree titles)

BICHEON:

Smashing Series: Eh. Dont bother (its ok to have in the begining, but after you get second series (one below this one) dont bother anymore

Chain Sword Attack Series: PAY ATTENTION HERE: this tree is most important for your attacks (remember those fast chains i told you about? Here they are ^^) THis should be your primary focus

Shield Technique Series: I say go with it. at higher levels youll be IMPOSSIBLE to kill with these skills on, along with snow sheild

Blade Force Series:These are your ranged attacks, so VERY IMPORTANT (these skills + ice imbue= ranged ice ability)

Hidden Blade Series: These are your knockdowns, VERY IMPORTANT!!!!

Killing Heaven Blade Series: These are the only way to hit your opponent while they are knocked down, VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!

Sword Dance Series: Ranged, hit multiple enemies, should i say anymore? ^^

Shield Protection Series (Passive): THis is very important, because it helps you block more

PHEW OK NOW FOR THE ELEMENTS ( I AM LISTiNG ONLYYY WHAT YOU SHOULD GET)

Cold:

Cold Force Series: Your imbue, this is key

Frost Guard Series: This is cold protection, important buff

Frost Nova Series: Eh, not too important, i suggest getting the first skill lvl 1, then getting the second skill

Snow Shield Series: Makes you practically invincible because ur pure str and have shield

Cold Armor Series (Passive): Important

LIGHT:

Piercing Force Series: ups you magical damage, so it will add a little bonus damage, so not too bad

Wind Walk Series: Gives you speed, and later skills in this series allow you to practically teleport

Concentration Series: Makes others hit less damage on you

Heaven's Force Series (Passive): same thing as the concetration series

FIRE:

Fire Shield Series: reduces statuses on you

Flame Body Series: Makes you deal more physical damage, IMPORTANT

Fire Protection Series: more magical defense to add along with you garments

Flame Devil Force Series (Passive): Same reason as flame body series

OK THATS IT!!! Hope that sets your questions to rest, please repond if still confused, i am going just to post all this info as a guide ^^

Now youll need to sp farm (go back and look at SP FARMING sticky (extremely detailed<---something like that)
DO IT!!!! YOU NEED A LOT OF SP SO FARM!! I KNOW IT SOUNDS HARD AND LONG, AND IT IS, BUT IT PAYS OFF!!!!!!

Many of the skills i said to get are just buffs. if you want nukes, MAKE A NUKER!! YOU HAVE NO MAGICAL ATTACK WAT SO EVER SO NUKES MAY LOOOK KOOL, BUT THEY ARE BAD FOR YOU

Now to actually use (once u r a decent lvl)

Just simply cast buffs, and go at ppl with ur fast attacks, knockdowns, and chains, using your ice imbue for all of them, to slow, freeze, and annoy thine enemy

Keep snow sheild up whenever you can, and cast castle shield to be extremely hard to kill

Remember= ur pure str, u dont use the ice for damage, just its slowing and freezing effect.

I hope this helps!!!!! Gl on building ur character!!!!

all gredits are going to Jaffarr from sparta server..

The best build for a blader, if you want to actually "KILL" is to go for 80 bicheon, 80 fire, 80 light, and 60 cold(for buffs).

Yea but delvln skills is no problem, you just have to get crusts hearts. And 150 is not going to come out for a while so best build is Blade 80 / Ice 60 / Light 80 / Fire 80, like Eroticus says.

whoever made this guide is probably not even level 80 or he would at least have changed the imbue to lightning
with ice imbue if you manage to freeze someone you cant triple stab due to a bug in animation of silkroad.

having ice imbue as a blader is probably the worse choice ever.
blade dont need ice that high at all simply because you already have an insane phy defense, block and knockdowns that saves your ***.

i suggest going
60 light
80 fire
80 bicheon
80 force
for cap 90 delevel light and buy yourself some moving potions or have a bard in your party

and for all people that want ice
68ice
72light
80fire
80bicheon

a blader in garment who is not afk should be able to tank any 1on1 with ice lvl 30 (snow shield for the euro wizards or rogues)

80 cap
i suggest 80bich, 80fire, 80light *optional* 60 ice
the reason why ice is optional and not even needed is because bladers already have amazing physical defense, there is nothing wrong with adding ice, but it requires a huge amount of sp and will have to be deleveled for 90 cap

but i think force lvl 80 and light lvl 60 together with garmet is a great combination.
If a blader gets you with the force Stats together with the Diverson and bleed from lightning chain, i bet he will do great damage to every class.
20-25% Absorbtion from snow shield is enough.

What is a blader and more importantly a force blader Bladers are notorious for “not being able to be killed, but not being able to kill a thing themselves.” While the latter part of the quote is not entirely true, the concept that a Blader is not able to be killed, certainly, is. A Blader is not meant to be a heavy damage-dealer. It is meant to be a Tanker, being able to have mobs upon mobs, hoards upon hoards, of enemies attacking it at once, and be able to tank through it all, and kill...
