As everybody is reporting, I guess this isnt working anymore.
Since its outdated for a long time.
I dont play global iSRO or SROR anymore so I cant test this out to see if its working.

I took almost 2 hours to make this thread, so a THANKS is very appreciated!
Thank you and good game!
I adapted this tutorial to both silkroad... (iSRO and SROR)
Hey guys, I am updating this thread due to the new update of iBot. I will give all support and help to you guys.
I will teach you how to run iBot for Silkroad, step by step.
In the beggining I show you how to run the clientless bot. In the end of the thread I teach you how to run iBot + Client.
1. Downloads
iBot Latest Release:
Version 1.2.2:
Change Log:
v1.2.2
- Updated for ISRO v1.406
- Updated for SROR v1.071
- Updated data files
- Updated iBot Necessities files
- Added parse_shops.txt
- Added check for invalid character name
- Added input for secondary passcode
- Added command line for secondary passcode (PC:1234)
- Fixed parsing of fellow items
2. Installing the needed files.
Go inside iBot folder > iBot_Necessities and install:
> VC Runtime 2008 (install x64 or x86 depending on your system)
> OCX Files (install x64 or x86)
> Net Framework 4.0 (dotNetFx40 inside Media patcher folder)
And download Java from official website. (this is to run HS Server)
Java (x64 or x86):
3. Copying files to Silkroad folder.
ATTENTION!! I recommend you to make a copy of your silkroad folder, so you will have one silkroad for iBot and one to run the legit silkroad, without bot.
> Copy all files from iBot - Hackshield Server to your Silkroad folder.
> Copy the iBot - Media Patcher.exe to the Silkroad folder.
4. Patch the media file.
> Run Media Patcher that you copied to your silkroad folder and follow the instructions below:
PS / OBS: For iSRO, choose "Silkroad Online" (not Revolution)
If you have any problems at patching, follow this tutorial to patch manually.
5. Running the HS Server and configuring the iphs file.
> Run the "Run SRO Hackshield" (or SROR if you use Silkroad-R) from your Silkroad folder.
> If everything is right, the Silkroad launcher will open. Click start on it.
Wait for the login screen, and then just minimize the client. Don't login !! You can hide the client with iTools if you want.
> Now, go to iBot folder\Init. Open the iphs file (r_iphs for Silkroad-R) with notepad. You have to put the same IP and port that Hackshield server shows to you. Modify and Save it.
6. Run iBot and configure Clientless.
> Open iBot. It should say "HS Server successfully connected".
ATTENTION: If you use iSRO, you should create a shortcut for iBot.exe adding "LS:2" in the end of the target line. (Thanks to Nikori for telling me this)
> Go to the second tab (a guy mounting on a horse) and follow like below:
You will login and it will auto open your selected char.
7. To make it bot.
> Configure the bot (attacking options, skills, repot, etc)
> Use a return scroll (or go to the spawn point at the city)
> Select a Script for the trainplace and for looping. (Download official ready-scripts here: - Use the specific SROR scripts!!)
> Click Start Bot.
The video below is from old iBot, it will show you how to run the HS Server. It will not show how to run the clientless or the client.
RUNNING IBOT + CLIENT
1. You will need:
> A virtual machine OR another computer in the same network (I didnt tested if its not at same, you can try that)
> An OS (Win XP / 7) to install in the virtual machine. (Can be a .iso file or a DVD)
> Everything else that is at the beginning of this thread.
For the virtual machine, I recommend you VMware or VirtalBox.
You can download VMware + Serial from here:
2. Installing the needed files at your REAL computer.
> Do all the same thing as step 2. that I said at the beggining.
3. Copying files to Silkroad folder.
> Same thing as before too.
3. Copying files to your virtual machine.
--- To copy files, just drag & drop the folder/file inside the virtual machine. ---
> Copy your Silkroad folder (the one that you patched media.pk2) to the virtual machine.
> Copy your iBot folder.
5. Running the HS Server INSIDE virtual machine
> First of all, install Java, otherwise the HS Server will not run.
> Do same thing as I said before.
Now forget your virtual machine! The next steps will be all done in your real computer, ok?
6. Modify the iphs file.
Now its the tricky part... you have to copy the IP and Port from HS Server that is running inside the virtual machine and put it on the iphs (or r_iphs if you use Silkroad-R) file from your REAL computer. Quite easy!
7. Running iBot + Client
> Run iBot. It should say "HS Server successfully connected!"
> Go inside iBot folder\iBot_Necessities\edx33 -Silkroad Loader and run the edxLoader6.
> Configure it like the image below and click launch.
> Its done! Now just configure your Bot and play!
