[NSremu (my edited emu)] Coding Help

Hello all, so first thanks to all admins for make this corner xD

Im editing DSREMU last Source code for a week +/-, and i got some ideas and stuff xD.

First i think about making a NPC auto Spawn when server starts so i check the code for the NPC and they arE:

Call HotanNpc(index)
Call JanganNpc(index)
Call DowhangNpc(index)

So i say: "hum so easy, form load xD" but it doesnt work..

So i check and that code is in a function.
My idea is to make a call for a function that im gonna create just for this code.


PS: i check the rules, and i dont understand the part that it says i can ask for help for code but not for programs?

Why you want use Functions like HotanNpc() JanganNpc() .. You can use Media.Pk2/Textdata/../npcpos.txt There are all Monsters and NPCs + Positions.

So you can write a little Parser for the file. And add all Spawns to a List. And use the List for youre Spawn Logic.

This "npcpos.txt" is in a CSV Format. In .NET you can parse every line via. String.Split('\t');

hum, if i understood that, you are saying that only vb.net emus can read it? thats bad news...
theres no other way?

You can parse them in every language. Just Google: {YourLanguage} CSV Files

PS: its applyed to mobs too?

@offtopic (to lesderid too) : i try to play Csro but when it loads that "load screen" in chinese b4 the user input it crashes.. do u know why? xD
