You can find loads of decent emulator bases online already? Considered just using one of them?
The thing is Silkroad has been done too much now like I said the game or community hasn't evolved in the past 5 years. Development: Bots, emulators have ****** up the game even more and its just getting done again and again.
Think I said this in past to pushedx he could work somewhere he would get a lot more appreciate and feedback for it.
The thing I found exciting about the packets was exploring the unknown. Its already been done, so no longer interesting in the same way.
A new MMO is an exciting project. At the moment development with Silkroad just feels like ******* a girl thats been passed round the neighbourhood.

Even my project is more advanced and stable than SSE. SSE is a ****. Badly coded and violates GPL license.

C++, interesting ...
What IDE you tried to use to build this epic emulator?
Qt, ... nevermind ...
Edit:
Umm, is there any chance to compile it on Win32 platform? I don't want to do it on Linux platform ...

Everything in c++ is portable to windows, it's just a question of is it worth the trouble or not, in this case I wouldn't bother: Linux is a much simpler and stabler OS for programs of this type, and it's free.

Well probably you could make it compile for the win32 platform but i never tried it, all the libraries and IDE i used have a win32 version, so it should be possible. Try it out and tell me.
