Request a Help from a Good Pk2editor
kk , i am making an media.pk2 for next X-Mas
i want to know where is file in Media.pk2
that got the codes of the structure and buldings
like
Bldg\North Africa\Alexandria\alex_raid_portal.bsr
i already serach on Serverdep i didn't found any thing but maybe i miss 1file xD
SO IF any one can give this to mee i will be full thanked to him

I know it is in Data but i cant force my players to download the whole client from begin !

well, try to make a patcher for that, and just give away, the file you need to include

NO Cuz when i change files in data pk2 it not include the effects
so if i changed Jangan dragon it's water will keep falling and shine of tree will not workin any more =D

So what are you trying to do here? You only want to edit the media.pk2 but you also want to edit a file in the data.pk2 but you won't cause people has to download it.
I don't know if I get what you want but can't you just remove the .bsr of the water in the jangan centre or the .efp effect file thinggy and do the thing PortalDark suggested too create a patcher with only the files you want to change in the data.pk2 so you can modify also the data.pk2

i will tell you again
if u intersted in media editing u will know that media pk2 got files in serverDep
which connect the between server files and Data.pk2
so if u change the X-Mas tree in media pk2 all water will be deleted and the Effect of crithmas tree will be added
without edit in data.pk2
like skill and items edit in media.pk2
they just edit codes that between server DB to the data.pk2 so u will see diffrent code change d1 to d12 including d12 effect adn etc.
so i need to found the file that contain the buildings codes or i will have to
edit all the shapes"BSR" & effect "EFP" in data.pk2
IT IS EASY FOR ME BUT PUPLISH IT TO MORE THAN 1500 PLAYER GONNA BE HARD !

Owh now I get it.
Correct me if i'm wrong but as far as I know you still need to edit the data.pk2 in that file are all the .bsr and .bms files but you don't need them I think you need to edit the .nvm files since those contain the id's of buildings and their position but I could be wrong.
But still if you're using the real server files you can just add a new patch which updates the few data.pk2 files so it wouldn't be hard at all to publish it to many players.

well for joymax when they update it they dont work hard as u say ..
they useing download server to patch data.pk2 and media.pk2 for the few files ..
but for you it will be little hard to make for a game, because you will have to do it via data.pk2,
well try to search for a guides to make an patcher like zszc once or do tool script may help you

Yeah but still with the vsro files you can create patches so you patch the same way as joymax does. But still you can easily create a patcher drew's pk2writer and pk2reader are available and they work fine so isn't that hard at all

well, zszc created a patcher maker, i guess it can be edited, cuz id dont know, how it decrypts/encrypts pk2 files

C# pk2editor request help

Hello guys,
I want to write a pk2 editor in .net, my problem is i dont know the structure of pk2 files.
I dont know what the GFXFileManger is for.
Can someone explain me how i can start this project.
The Source of Drews Pk2Tools are very big and for me very irrecognizable.
