1) PSF sound_019.sff which can be found in the SpecialForce\data\Sound
2) the .mp3 or song you want
3) A .sff packer and unpacker
STEP 1:
Create a folder on your desktop, let's call it "feartec"
STEP 2:
Put the items you downloaded from this thread in there along with the sound_019.sff aswell. So inside the folder there should be:
edit.bat
sff-parser
cygwin1.dll
sound_019.sff
STEP 3:
For those with another .sff packer/ unpacker you can ignore this part.
Now right-click the edit.bat, select edit
Once in there input this code.
Code:
@echo off sff-parser.exe unpack sound_019.sff Sound_001
Once you have done this, a command window should show, wait for the .sff to unpack.
STEP 4:
There now should be a Sound_019 folder in the feartec directory.
Double-click the Sound_019 folder and look at its contents.
Look at the .mp3 entitled "glum"
(This is where the song you want comes into play)
Make a copy of your .mp3 song and rename it "glum"
Then replace the original "glum" in the Sound_019 folder with your newly renamed glum.mp3
STEP 5:
Once you have replaced the original glum, go back to the edit.bat and now we have to edit the code again and input: (Changes highlighted in green)
Code:
@echo off sff-parser.exe pack sound_(Anything) Sound_019
So basically what we just did is name the .sff that you will pack since the original sound_001.sff is still in the folder, the new one you are making will come out as a copy so for structural reasons, put ANYTHING YOU WANT AFTER sound_
STEP 6:
Now it's easy.
All you have to do is make a copy of your sound_(ANYTHING YOU WANT) so it won't be shared and drag it to your desktop.
Rename it to sound_019.sff and navigate to the offiicial ijji sound folder (same place where you got the original sound_019.sff) and replace the old sound_019.sff with the new one you made.
Cheers! You made you own lobby music. Have fun
