[Complete TUT] How to make Edited SFF Files Work..

Sorry guys for the late update of this thread.. I've been away since sunday to volunteer in an affected areas in manila by the storm.. Anyweiz, I still havent tried about the character and weapon skins.. So I'll just put a screenshot of the sharinggan scope by DARNOC

Part 1

• Make a BACKUP folder in your DESKTOP for your original SFF Files
• Copy the original SFF file you want to replace and paste it in the Backup folder
• Log-in your SF account
• Enter a channel and enter a waiting room
• Go back to the desktop and copy the SFF file that you want to use (for example, the clearscope)
• Paste it in it's designating folder( clearscope --> effect folder)
• That's it, enjoy your game..

PART 2

• When you log-in again to play SF, you will encounter again the same problen as before.. "INVALID BLAH BLAH"
• This is because of the edited files.
• Copy again the original files that you put in the backup files and put them back to their original SF folders, and delete other unwanted files in your SF folders(like Bnbn's Glitch files)
• Then log-in again to play..

• Repeat the PART 1 to use the Edited files again (Clearscope... Etc..)
• And repeat the PART 2 to make your SF work..

This works for PSF.. Try it in USF if it would work.. I'll update this post when someone says that this works in USF

cant seem to make chammed chars work...made the shoot through objects work though...

about the chammed chars, when should i paste the aditional "force_029.sff" file on the force folder?

this actually works, though it'd be a pain to copy the mods when playing especially if you're processor is only single core. copying the mods takes about 1-2 mins on a dual core while it takes about 5-10 mins on a single core, kinda time consuming if you're only playing in a cafe. aside from that, the client also seems to crash when you see water, during the time that you have waterproof activated.

whats wrong in this post?

1=Edited characters cant be done unless reverse engineer the game itself
2=Weapons
~you must specify what type of weapon is your talking about
is it the weapon folder?cuz it can only be done by doing the same
method as 1.

Dude.. I think you're over reacting about the "edited chars and weapons"..

It's just for the skins.. It doesn't have to be reversed engineered. It's just a simple sff edit..
