I came from android to ios aswell... I transitioned from mi 4i to iphone 6s back in 2015. At first it was difficult but after some time I got used to it and I think it was the best decision I had ever taken. Its hard to explain but ios just works. I suggest you spend some hours in the apple store and get some hands on time. Hope you make the better decision =)
I use a old Ipad for the most part (its very old) but i defently prefear an android phone, for what the functionalities it has and not the "locked IOS OS"
