u can also go start>run>msconfig and click on the startup tab. Then u can uncheck programs that u dont want to run on startup. btw don't terminate ccApp: Symantec Common Client CC App. This belongs to notron antivirus. It is responsible for the auto-protect and email checking, and it will not function correctly if this service is stopped.
