like when i played kSRO, that haven't Christimas event, cuz they are buddhist peoples, and don't have it on their religion

On the chirstmas day ,are we celebrating christmas or the birth of Jesus ?
Christmas is celebrated by alot of non-religious people too;christmas by other means reffers to giving and recieving gifts ,etc.(Santa Claus)
It has a religious meaning,because of the date (its the same date when Jesus was born),but we should celebrate His birth and not "Christmas" literally.
Hard to explain..
Here is the Legend of Christmas btw ( google translate)
Legend has it that Mary, being engulfed in pain, asked Eve Santa's shelter. Arguing that it is poor, he refused it, but he sent his younger brother and richer, Santa Claus. Arrived at the house of Christmas, Mother of God finds his wife home, and asks Santa Claus wife shelter. Santa Claus wife not stay long on the thoughts, but knowing the evil and unfaithful husband, no one gets in the house and sends his cattle born in the stable. Then, without telling him her husband Santa Claus wife a Virgin Mary to help him give birth to the child Jesus. Finding Christmas, he punishes his wife. Christmas, seeing this miracle and stable or knowing that Jesus was born, he repents and asks God's forgiveness, becoming the "first Christian." It is said that he repented so much that the next day and shared his entire fortune to poor children and since then, every year, Eve Nativity, Santa Claus comes by sleigh pulled by reindeer, enter the chimney and puts us gifts under the tree than expected. Holy feast of Christmas, with its scent of fir-tree is full of traditions and symbols of the most diverse in the world.
I didn`t want to say that it is NOT a religious holiday,my bad.But it has other meanings aswell and people should not forget what to celebrate on the 25th december 
@topic:I doubt that the halloween dress will be free like iSro had it one year ago.
