Robe Or Light Armour for Wizard?

Really noob question but i got a wizard/cleric and I am slightly confused on wether to go robes or La I was always told to go robes because of the slightly higher damage increase for magic what are your guys opinions?

light armor no doubt , your defense will suck hard with robes but with light armor u can survive

btw who said robe makes u do more magic damage o_o?

well i was under the impression that magical reinforce on armour is for your damage and not magical defence?

As far as i know, the reinforce on equip works for higher defence on your item obviously, like the reinforce on your weapon which increases your hits per damage.

Really depends on your level..

As a Wiz/Cleric Robe's work just fine, aslong as you have a good set.

its simple, as a wizard you are full int (lots of Mag defense but Low Phy defense) if you wear Robe you are adding a lot more of Magic Defense but low phy defense, in short words: a warrior or any str build based will pwn ur *** with half hit

well i guess you got a point there, but i still think robe would be better pve wise though?

LA would be better at pvp cause of the passive cleric buffs (when switching to cleric rod + LA you get a nice defence).

Honestly against mobs it doesnt really matter anymore what set you got, most people go 8/8 parties anyway (that includes having a warrior).

When boting alone with LA on your char you will have MP issues (unless you buy prem plus and devil, but not everyone buys those^^).

well, if i were you i go LA when solo and robe when in 8/8 parties.

as some would say, if you have a good robe set, you can survive, but what if you have a good LA set? duh your possibility of surviving is much higher because you have both mag and phy defend.
