Seems like one of the many auto-quest MMORPG's you have on mobile.

One thing I noticed was the sets. I can imagine this is similar to other mobile MMORPG games, in which you can only attack uniques/boss X amount of times in 1 day. This boss will drop set items for you to upgrade. So obviously, here, spenders will have a massive advantage.

I'd be cautiously optimistic that this is nothing more than a temporary cash grab. As other users mentioned before, this will be one of those games where a new server appears every week. Within some time, the server you are on will become dead as everyone flocks to become the best on the new server.

Unless I'm proven wrong, it's a hard miss from me.

Also seems like you have to sideload the game lol. Thanks, but without me then. Even the other rubbish SRO mobile game managed to distribute the alpha via the official Google and Apple app stores back in the day.

I agree, sideloading a game is so unprofessional and it's not even available in iPhone. I wonder if they applied and got rejected or they didn't even tried to place it in the PlayStore and the apple app store. Also it says there will be a PC client which is interesting, WeMade is still running the official oldschool Silkroad. I don't think they'll give a license for a new crappier PC version of it. I have so many questions in my head but I hope it's good.

Google Play policy changed very hard in 2023. You have to prove that you have copyright for every assets, sounds, images and effects. Otherwise you cannot get approved. How I know? Because lately I'm researching about Mobile Development.

So how is it gonna change when they try to release it as a full game? They claim they will give us Google Play and App Store links meaning they will still has to upload it.

Also seeing so much crappy asset flip games in Google Play i highly doubt they have some hard stance regarding legitimacy of asset

tried the game, since I had an alpha testing code:
- the only working server is on Asia,
- the game is pretty laggy and buggy(menus don't always work, random black screens),
- the playstyle is boring, all auto-quest and bot

Maybe its different for large game.

Asset flip games are paid assets used for commercial purposes. Everyone can buy assets and share similiar games.
I don't know about this mobile game if they will get allowed to be uploaded or not. Maybe they have a glitch.

Reagrding the PC version I am also wondering. At first they even mentioned Steam. Now they mention PC in general and when pressing the DL Button it simply downloads the Android version

Tried it, alpha test still but this isn't silkroad, more like another cash grab full auto pseudo game, with silkroad skins. Many stuff isn't translated to English aswell. I would say that even the first silkroad mobile is better than this trash, both are very bad of course. Also huge lack of professionalism, how can they share the download link sideways without proper Google play...only Asian server available for the alpha test, huge lags for euro players I guess. But I would say, that this game can't be posted here on the silkroad threads.

I also tried it just now, currently the EU server is working, at least for me. There aren't many players. I guess there are like 500 online and it isn't lagging for me like in other players. EU race isn't available yet. But there are soo many bugs, which I guess is normal since it's still in alpha stage. Also it will be better if they increase the GUI elements size a little. It feels like playing desktop Silkroad in 4K monitor, everything is tiny.
