I get that it's exciting to see any form of content coming form them, but it's probably gonna be a disappointment.

It's a miracle they have yet not closed the game down for good.

The game died around 2014 and around cap 110 is when things went totally awry.

They should have reduced the pay2win aspects of the game back in 2008/9
-> balanced out the classes and races;
-> listen to the community while doing some heavy advertising;
-> add new races and content (such as dungeons, new features, systems, etc.);
-> probably update the game engine around 2013/4 and progress the game from there while also keeping a few servers on the lv.80/90/100 forever.

But these are greedy Koreans we're talking about.

While not perfect, they could have taken the examples of other Korean/Chinese/Western MMORPGs such as Jade Dynasty, Black Desert Online, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, etc., to implement and add SOME of what they have, some of their features and business plans all while trying their best to maintain the aspect of the original game; to keep what makes SRO, SRO.
There are so many systems that could have been implemented within the game engine's reach.

But what do I know

I think youre far away from reality and real silkroad which is at 2023 , Lot of mmorpg games had less p2w system before many years , now its different times and youre have accept it.

Im sure youre not even play silkroad after 80cap , and just following the news on silkroad section and posting how they dont did better work at the game

This update means alot for all players whos playing silkroad at the moment , and know the situation of the game + what we can expect from upcoming updates , and we are hyped when updates like this are up like degree/new areas

Good luck living in yours 2008 and asking for game system remaking

While most of the content is unfortunately barely changed/edited, one thing that Joymax has not ever copied/recycled yet are weapon, gear, accessory models. That gives hope for something new and fresh.

That's why this update is so exciting; not only for official SRO necessarily, but for PSRO, as we can finally get the official models for degree switchers of D16, D17, and now unexpectedly, D21.

There hasn't been a degree/item upgrade available in official SRO since D15 release, which was over 7 years ago now. It will either partially revive or completely destroy the game -- let's see what happens.

Now lets done this offtopic , the thread is created about 2023 silkroad update , and what + or - its can give to the game : )

Its not about how before 15years silkroad should starting ban bots and start listen to the players comunity what they need , so the game would be different than now

I noticed a new image on the joymax portal page. Now its a female character with something that looks like green heavy armor. I havent seen this in any artwork before.

Could be 16D or 17D armor.

We have new news from KSRO!

Seems the patch is not coming tomorrow, but 7 hours is so long for just what the patchlist says. We COULD be getting new content added to the client in preparation for Legend 23! 7 hour maintenance is starting on the 16th!

I couldnt find any evidence in the ksro web item mall. Even the 14D to 15D upgrade item is missing.
