true, you can do useless junk on him with the chains like dull (omg, if the statuses would have a crapyness award this would rule on it)
bleed: you only get if you max the smashing series what is around 100k sp to lv100
the important in force is the decay status what you dont get from bicheon skills (at lv100 it debuffs 534 physical defense!!! what means a LOT in damage)
also worth mentioning division from lv90 onward what stacks with decay and further duffs the physical defense (sry couldnt find the exact decrease it gives)
and btw, thou you get impotent from chains, it is much easyer and comfortable to duff it from force, not just hoping that it will proc with his 20%
just to compare an int char in 8degree robe/garment has around 500 phisical defense...
