My old char the got hacked is in my hands again! But does email verification work?

I changed the password of my old rogue that got scammed from me a while back.
And i email verified it to my email, however, i tested it out and i was able to change the pw without getting an email...it let me change the pw just like a normal account that is unverified...

Is this supposed to happen? Do i need to give it time? Whats up with that? ^^

From now on you will only need ID & Secret Answer to change the PW.
Even if the Account is Email Verified.

That means, that the other guy who has the Secret Answer of your Account can change the PW too without any problems.

i know, i quit for a week, and i uninstalled ****** /> then i saw this new pw thing and thought i could get my rogue back from back in the day
but haha no point i guess
