Write a program that connects to nuConnector or whatever you're using and send a packet. Not sure what port though.

Talking about the effects of it, its pure client sided, i have been learning a thing or 2 about packets lately there is no need for you to be so defensive.

Actually henkdemol is right.
If you edit the pk2-files you are editing data loaded by the client, thus you edit the client. You can also modify the client so it treats the packet "Disconnect" (lol) the same as the packet "Log-in".
When it comes to packets it's not easy to define if you can still call that client sided. But for me everything is client sided unless you break into the server and manipulate data directly.
